Hey guys I need some help with my next mod for my taco (2013 TRD Sport). I am kind of torn between looking at suspension or rock sliders. Keep in mind I am a college student so I can't spend an outrageous amount of money....

So does anyone have any basic suggestions on suspension? My front end is about 2" lower than the rear. I don't want to lift my truck at all, just make sure the front is level with the back. Also, i don't know anything about suspension other than from reading around the forum Bilstein 5100's seem to be popular... And would I need to upgrade the front and back at the same time? What items specifically would I need to buy? Total Cost for everything? Would suspension be more helpful or rock sliders? Any help would be appreciated!

Oh and here is my truck if you wanted to know! IMG_4783.jpg

    I got sliders first fwiw.

But it’s all up to you man. You need more clearance now? Get the lift. You scared of landing on rocks more? Get the sliders

Armor before suspension, that way when you lift you can account for the additional weight and don't end up having to redo a bunch of stuff.

I'm surprised that your truck has that much rake on a stock suspension with a bed rack and RTT.

This I got my suspension before armor an depending on how much it settles I may redo it.id do 5100s up front an set at .85 an sliders if you can swing it.

3rd gen suspension will give you a 1" lift up front. Cheap, functional alternative to 5100s. I've seen a set go for ~$75 (front and back shocks). But $200 seems to be the average rate.

Well I figured out that I need sliders today. I was out wheeling this afternoon and hit my rocker panel. Thankfully it was just dirt so no damages from what I can tell. Thanks for the information though guys!
