Buy tires to fit the function of the vehicle. They are your only link to the road, and next to the nut behind the steering wheel, a critical safety and performance item.

When you figure out a couple of options that work for you, let looks be the tie breaker. Not the key item. Unless you are just a gram builder.

I got nothing bad to say about xterra's. They are solid machines no doubt. There really not much limitations with what you can do to many vehicles but tacoma for sure makes it easy.

I ordered the michelin at/2 sat. Paid 178x4. I think that's one of the cheapest compared to the poll
I just have to wait a month or two

That's definitely more of a mud terrain than anything else. Calling them an all season is somewhat misleading IMO.

    I liked my yokohama g015 a lot.

Recently got the new pirelli ones which are sorta K02ish if you look at the tread up close. They aren't as good in rain as the g015 but better on muddy roads out in the hills.

I am looking closely at the Toyo ATIII. They are priced well, have been getting good reviews in all sorts of conditions and, if you are looking to get 265/75R16 again, you can choose between E or SL load range. I still have not decided on the load range yet, but it is nice I can get either one.

I really like the Ridge Grapplers on my giant truck, really quiet, good road manners.

Big fan of St Maxxs. Great on road manners. Good in the wet. Great off road. Never been in snow with them though. Wearing like iron.

Nice, I'm surprised more people aren't throwing down votes on cooper. Seems like that's what most run. Thanks for the feedback and nice truck

Which do you like better your Taco or T4R?

Honestly....the T4r. Better on long trips. Better for a family. More capable off road b/c the wheelbase difference compared to my long bed.

I love my truck but im a big fan of the 4runner platform.

That makes sense. I think if I were to choose any other vehicle other than a Tacoma it would be the T4R. I just need a truck for the bed. But hey you got the best of both worlds.

Well, I tried my best to get the Toyo A/T III! Unfortunately the place with the "buy 3 get 1 free" deal doesn't have them in stock. They could order them but the deal is only for tires in stock and guess which tire they do have in stock.... the KO2. For $200 off it looks like I'll be picking up the KO2's again. I still love this tire, I was just really looking forward to changing it up a bit. Thanks everyone for the feedback! I'll post up a pick when I get them mounted up.
