I did use the sway bar kit. It came as part of the Eibach 2.0 kit, so I threw it in while everything was apart. I also did the OME drive shaft spacer and OME transfer case drop kit. I added HS 1/4” top spacers to get the most lift I could without compressing the springs and messing with rebound too much. My CV’s were touching a bit, and the transfer case kit fixed that. Ended up with 2.75” lift in front and 1.75” in rear… after it all had time to settle. I have the ECGS bushing, not sure if I’m going to install of not.

Right now, stock coils up front with a +0.85” setting on the 5100s. OME springs did squeak a little, but I pulled the front eye on the pass side, greased it again, and it’s gone. Only have about 5k kms on them though.

Okay thanks. Nice to know the sway bar kit is included. I’m shooting fir about 2” up front, so I should get there easily with the 2.0 kit. I forgot the ECGS bushing. Going to have to see what shipping will cost in that.

You shouldn’t need the ECGS bushing for 2”. After all my research, the main people whom seem to need it are those who went 2.5” and higher. I’m just shy of 3” and not even sure I need it. Lol!

    So researching more,

    Eibach stage 1 kit - $1000 assembled
Eibach stage 2 kit - $1400 ready to install
    Bilstein 6112/5125 - $1600 ready to install

    YAY COVID!!

Am I crazy for doing the stage 1 kit and call it good?

I got the Eibach Stage 1 from Wheelers a few weeks ago for $691 free shipping. Also, on there site there is a dropbox for options. In that dropbox you can select assembled or unassembled. I selected "assembled" expecting the price to change but it didn't.

So they supplied the extra parts to assemble the coilovers and assembled them for the same price as unassembled. If you "join" their mailing list no sales tax either. If you go that route, give them a try, fair warning the communication from them was lackluster at best. Expect a few weeks for delivery if you have them assemble.

I thought we already came to the conclusion that Stage 2 Eibach was the ticket! $400 isn’t a bank robbery, it’s a little more saving and then… bliss!

$691US. I’m in Canada. Works out to $1200CAN + customs, duties, taxes and whatever else the shipper comes up with.
I know, I know. Gotta save where you can, you know?:D:anonymous:

I’d go 6112/5125 if you can find the 6112 in stock.

That’s a problem. The Canadian distributors that I’ve trust enough with my money have been out for a couple months. My fronts are wearing thin on me.

I sent a message to Eibach asking what the difference is between the coilovers in their stage 1 and stage 2. They said internally they are pretty much identical. Technically the valving on the 2.0's is a little firmer but in their personal opinion they ride the same. Now don't get me wrong, this doesn't prove you're not crazy, but in this instance you seem perfectly sane. Lol!!

Is there a difference between the 3rd gen and 2nd gen? The reason I ask is the second gen is out of stock.

@71tattooguy I saw that. But in Canada, that’s $1600+shipping+customs and duties. That’s befotr getting it put together to install. I bought the Eibach Stage 1 kit, $1000 put together ready to install.

Second gen is OOS everywhere I’ve checked. Another reason I went Eibach. My coils are dead. Bumps are awful, and road control is shot. Needed now, not 3 months from now, if Bilstein can deliver. Most dealers I talked to said they moved the ship date for product twice since Feb.

Yeah, same here. Getting tired of waiting myself. Eibach stage 2 is still a month out. Now seriously considering OME. My rear shocks are so far gone even tiny pot holes hit pretty hard.

@jackn7 I thought about OME too, but doing research, there’s a ton of reports of OME coil sag. Asked here, and the reports were mixed. Now I know the internet is full of “the sky is falling” whiners who like to complain, but the incidences of Eibach sag were slim to none in comparison.
