    Priority:
    1) 3" lift or less
    2) LIGHT weight, P or C load All Terrain tires
    3) Maintain clean factory look

    Scenario A:
Bilstein 5100's w/ fronts set at 1.75", add a leaf rear, up one size to 265/75R16 or 265/70R17, TRD fakelocks, and I'd probably be happy.

    Scenario B:
Is there any combo that will allow you to go a little taller without doing 285s, without rubbing issues, without needing UCA's? Maybe OME 884's and Dakars? One problem seems to be that there aren't many tires in the 32-33" diameter range that aren't E rated, and a full 3" lift seems to leave too much space for the aforementioned tire sizes to fill up. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Post pics or suggestions and thanks in advance.

    This a 3" with 285's

They screwed up and ordered 265's when I ordered 285's so this is how mine sits now.

You could try a 275 but it's limited in brands that make them.

OME 887s with 5100s all around and an AAL for just under three inch lift. Front sits a half in lower than rear. 285/75/16 duratracs. Stock UCAs, light trimming on bumper. Ride is great. image.jpg

I've been looking into this as well trying to keep weight to a minimum. The best 2 options I can come up with for that size using factory wheels:
    TRD 16" beadlock style wheels (23lbs) or factory TRD 16" offroad wheels (23lbs) + Duratrac 265/75/R16 C-load tires (45lbs) = 68lbs
    OR
Forged TRD 17" wheels (23lbs) + 265/70/R17 BFG KO2 C-load tires (45lbs) = 68lbs [Note this is a very expensive option due to the forged wheels]
    VS
    Stock TRD offroad 16" wheel (23lbs) + 265/70/R16 BFG rugged trail (38lbs) = 61lbs

Anything in the E-load range will drive weight up significantly as well as increased sidewall stiffness. Unfortunately there are not a lot of C-load range tires in our sizes if you are looking at LT tires.

Atomic powered engine swap, because spaceship.
Sub'd. Torn between 5100's at .85 and one size taller or ome and 275's. 100 miles a day makes it tough.

I really hate the idea of running heavy E-rated tires when I have no need for them. For that reason I think I'll go 17's when I replace my stock sport alloys. I have a few different options in the 265/70R17, namely BFG KO2's. Then I have the option later on to go with the 34x10.50R17 - big fan of that size. Anybody know of a good 275 that is not load range E?

if i go any taller than a 265/75R16 its going to be a 255/85R16 LOVE the look of skinnies and the function of the skinnier tire is superior in most cases.
