If the HPA passed you would have gotten the $200 back and what I tell everyone that takes their time "The longer you wait, the longer you wait."

No it comes off your Taxes when you file. The government isnt just going to write a check for $200 that would be just silly :jerkoff:

I still think it's stupid how you can now shoulder an "arm brace" on a SBR, but you can't put a regular stock on one unless you file a $200 tax stamp. Something is wrong with this. Not even sure why SBRs are so regulated.

Dont worry, enough people are going to complain to the ATF about it again that they are going to reverse their reversal and everyone will have to pay the stamp again. Thats what happened last time because everyone wrote letters to the ATF and they have to respond to each individual letter. It pissed them off so much that they said no one gets to shoulder it again.

So, you may hate the idea that you can shoulder a brace but please dont ruin it for the rest of us. Yes, I have a form 1 in the works but I plan to build another pistol and my wife and AR22 pistol because she likes the idea of a smaller barrel.

I started my AR9 SBR build today. Going to just put a brace on it while I wait for my form.

Went by the dealer today to meet the guy (home dealer) and he was talking to another customer about 41F and he said that he has had a few come back post 41F with some pre 41F pending, so he asked the agents that came by and the agent told him that an examiner grabbed a box out of order, if I'm lucky that will happen to me and my optimus will be approved in the next few months.

Back on the topic of SiShop having dedicated examiners.

I still haven't found anything in an article online stating that they have them but this popped up on a local gun forum, the OP said that it has been implied to him that they have gotten dedicated examiners.

Now if they can get the optimus in stock already. They told me it'll take another two weeks!

How do you like Anderson stuff? I was thinking of snagging one for my build. From what I've heard unlike most AR companies, they actually make their own receivers unlike the others that simply rebrand theirs.

This will be my first Anderson lower :p I have an Anderson barrel in my 556 and its never given me an issue and have a LPK in my 300 blk. Most companies use their parts and then rebrand them
