I have heard that for some reason certain regions are experiencing some longer wait times. Also these times should be down by as much as 40/50% do to added personal so times should be around from here on out to about 5/8 months or less. Silencer shop really fucked things up which added to the extra scrutiny of applications along with 41F. Another thing that fucked things up was the Attorneys and Trusts that were being created to try and go around the new law that was tossing the examiners into chaos. The amount of transfers from Trusts to other Trusts that took place was another huge mess.

Nice, I've noticed that on NFA tracker there havent been any Trusts being pushed through for approvals lately and it's only been individuals. I can see too other regions taking longer than other's since Texas has almost 7,000 forms right now on tracker and the second closest is Florida with 2,500. I'm starting to wonder though why the trusts are not getting passed through.

I have yet to get an reasonable answer to the Trusts issue. I know that this adding and removing people from the Trust has added some MAJOR confusion to the already confused. I think 41F is going to be around for awhile to do it's silver lining of not having LEO have to sign off on Applications. This was the last administrations way of preserving this change/Law.....JMO

What sucks is that if individuals do this outside the trust you have to pay another $200 for the transfer into the trust....

That would be great if it was only taking 8 months. I hope you're right. Did you use the single shot trust?

Got ya. I hope the single shot trust works well. My buddy has trusts already drawn up, I may just use one of those next time.

I think everyone would be better off setting up a regular NFA Trust to avoid all the confusion.....JMO and others I have chatted with on wait times.

effortless and correct paper work makes the process go a lot smoother. The examiner deals with the same paper work every time with the same person info that's already in the system.

I called the ATF today about my Trust Form1 submitted back in Oct 2016, they said its still another 60-90 days out.

I was so optimistic I would have it back by now. Bummer.

I Just had a chat with my buddy and he said anything that was submitted before 02/17 to expect a wait time of 10/13 months anything after that should be in the 5/8 month range w/no paper work issues with current application load.

Both from what I have been told as long as the paper work is correct. one of the BIG things that held up a lot of stamps was that people rushed to get it through and forgot the important stuff on the applications....

Trusts could be a tad longer but not much longer by only a couple weeks

Why would that be? I purchased an Octane 45 in December but just called my dealer and they said the ATF received my paperwork on 2/23 (they had to form 3? it). I'm hoping what you say is true.
