Patiently waiting for my stamp to show up. It was approved 8/21 and the dealer says he still hasn't got it. I get that it can take several weeks, but almost everyone on NFA tracker is getting theirs in 7-10 days or less. I'm just hoping there is not an issue the dealer is putting off telling me. I reported earlier he had a break in, but mine was not one taken (supposedly), and he also moved locations since I bought it. I really hope it's not a case of him stalling as he tries to find it. I wish there was tracking from the ATF to see were it really is.

I've been eyeing more NFA stuff. But damn the wait is too damn long. I waited 8.5 months for 2 can prior to 41P. I've been wanting to sbr a scar and mpx. But the wait. I guess if I hold off I'm waiting either way..

Exactly! The wait sucks but when youre holding it off it sucks even more. A lot of people are biting the bullet because it's better to get in line now than hold off. I have a form 4 and a form 1 in and I am hoping the form 1 is out by December if not I am hoping for a nice birthday present :D And, as I always say "The longer you wait the longer you wait"

That's like the best news ever. Bad thing about my ffl, they were calling me to come in and look at other toys. Every time they'd call I thought my stamp was in. Nope.. all this NFA stuff is making me itch for something now. I'm selling one of my ARs to fund my wheels.. my attention is starting to shift ... thanks NFA thread

Bought two silencers around August 6th, 2016. Silencershop was just starting the kiosk system then. I know it took a month or two for them to be submitted because there were a few bugs that had to be worked out. Both were submitted on the same check. One has a "check cashed" date of Oct 28 and the other Dec 6. The one with the Dec 6 date is the one I can pick up, the other is still pending.

All this tells me is there is no rhyme or reason as to how things are done at the ATF. How they got separated with dates 6 weeks apart and why the later date is the first one processed, who knows? I'm just hoping the other is soon as it's been 13 months since I bought them and I've waited long enough.

Current wait time for my Form 1 I just got back, submitted September 9th 2016, approved July 29th 2017. This was for a m92 SBR. The wait sucked but so worth it when I installed that stock :)

So the SHARE Act has passed the committees and is moving towards the house

Hopefully this gets us one step closer to a brighter future for NFA items! I would love to get a dedicated 22 can a lot faster than waiting over a year to be processed but as I mention to everyone who is banking on this to pass. "The longer you wait, the longer you wait" There is no guarantee this will pass so if you are on the fence about getting a suppressor jump in line and wait like the rest of us. If you are lucky maybe we can all get a jump to the front of the line pass :D

Anyone who wants to follow this later here is the link to the bill:

How fast things move in the government, you might be better off just waiting the year for the stamp. That's if it does end up passing.

Happy to see this go through but I'm laughing my ass off at TITLE XII. Someone wants to put a polar bear head up in there house here in the US... let's create an act.

So, maybe I can see into the future, maybe I can't. Had a dream last night that my barrel was back in stock. Come this morning I check Rainier...
    https://www.rainierarms.com/faxon-firearms-300blk-chrome-lined-4150-5r-barrel/
$200 gone and SBR is only one step away from being finished.
Last thing on my list, Superlative Arms .750 solid gas block, there pat pending bleed off version to help keep the direct impingement system "cooler". Gonna be great for when I suppress this ticking time bomb of money...

Nice! Glad to see they finally got that barrel in! I'm working on building a 6.5 Grendel but I am almost done with the upper. All I need is a handguard and gas tube. I really want a midwest industries 18 inch handguard but I just have to save up and buy one. The next thing is going to be the AR9 pistol that'll be a SBR soon enough and then I'm working on the AR22. I also figured out what I am going to do with that last lower...458 SOCOM!
