    That was a pretty good shoot. Despite the 240 having a broken case in EVERY barrel in the first 45 minutes lol.

    Soft brass more than likely. The case separated about half way up. The nearest case extractor was hours away lol.

    Heh very true but I'll still be at the 10 month time frame they quoted me in June which is ok with me :p I'm hoping to get the form 4 back May if it keeps picking up like this.

    5100s/1.6in eibachs, wheelers AAL, OME N182 rear shocks, 4.56s, Detroit truetrac, 255/75/17, SOSConcepts sliders
    Soft cases usually fail at the head. Often catastrophically. Sounds like excessive headspace. Back when I was using a 249 or 60, we had to check headspace with all barrels every so often. Sometimes the bolts get swapped in the armory or things wear out.

    Not sure. When we got back to the shop I put A few belts through the affected barrels with no issue.

    Edit: it was military brass too. Lake city I believe.
