NFA wait times and BS thread

I hope so, it's been 10 months now...

Picked up a SilencerCo Hybrid and a Ruger Silent Sr, right before the 41f cutoff.

 

I am hearing that Nov/Dec paper work is now coming back....

 

Where'd you hear that?

My local dealer says the last group of forms he's received from the BATF, were submitted on 6/22.

I also heard that they put an additional 900/1100 people at a desk in Martinsburg, West Virginia ,Falls Church, Virginia Charlottesville, Virginia, Richmond, Virginia and Jacksonville Fl....As they are pushing for less then 120 day wait times after the back log.

 

I don't have the control number for my form 4, would I contact silencershop (who I purchased it from) or my in state FFL holder (the middle man)?
I would guess I would contact the in state dealer as from my understanding he is the one who filed the form 4 and silencershop just handled the form 3.

 

This better not be one of those "No body lies on the internet" kind of thing

 

I think you get that from the ATF. You need to call them and have the serial number on hand then I think they would give you the control number

Just had a guy pick up his with a date of 7/1/16.

 

The long wait begins - mailed in my Form 4 on Tuesday for my Auto Ordnance M1SBR.

My Form 4 arrived and they hit my credit card on May 6th. Processing time is somewhere at 9 months or so at this point.
