Yeah idk how I'd feel if I buy a sandman being of the year and have it by April while the TBAC is still in jail on one hand I'd be happy on the other I'd be pissed I'm still waiting. The TBAC is the one I'm looking forward to the most

Eform certified at my FFL and sent to the ATF today 1/31. There was about a week or so delay on my end cause covid but can is officially in jail

FFL was curious to which I will get first but put her money on the e form coming back first

Well I just threw my hat in the game to see how quickly the new efile form 4 goes. Ordered a Rugged Oculus as a birthday gift to myself! Super Stoaked since it's my first can! Been toying with the idea for years so I finally said eff it and got my ass in line.

Off topic but for anyone willing to answer, I'm looking to potentially open a gun trust with an out of state friend, and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of a decent attorney/group that works in this kind of thing? Sadly I live in a ban state, but the friend does not, which is why I'd like to be able to invest into NFA items if/when we actually move, and for times when we're visiting. Is this a possibility? Off the top of my head I can't imagine why not, but if anyone knows better, I'd love some advice. Thanks!

Finally got my form 4 certified and efiled today. It took 3 weeks for silencershop to get everything in order and ready to submit. Purchased 2/1/22, ready to certify 2/22, and was finally able to actually certify 2/24.

According to my dealer they are having alot of growing pains with silencer shops efile system right now. I called twice yesterday and it was down both times, called this morning and it was down, and then my ffl called me back around noon today because the system was back up and got my forms certified and submitted.

    Now the wait actually begins...

yeah that’s what I heard too from my local shop when I picked my latest can up last week. Going to give it a few more months before I order another one.

    Same here
Shop internal process was flawed as the floor staff didn't really know what to do but the shops NFA coordinator reached out and handled it

On the silencer shop side I was supposed to be able to certify my form 4 trust app over the phone but the SilencerShop push notifications weren't working so I had to drive to the FFL and once there they kept getting kicked out of the system

I'm set on cans for a while will prob need to do a form 1 SBR here soon though with the upcoming brace decision.

I'm at 344 days since check cashed on a Form 4. Ridiculous. The new e-form process really added insult to injury.

well I did some retail therapy to stave off my ATF can jail blues...capital armory actually had the booster, piston and spacer in stock that I've been waiting for Dead Air to restock on their site. It was mostly on sale as well! As those parts may indicate, I'll be running it on a PCC and a pistol. I was considering going the microkey mount route because I have another can from them that comes with that set up and it's super slick, but that setup would have been another $300 at least.

Well this is exciting for those that have submitted eform 4s…

And probably really frustrating for those on the paper train.

Man silencer shop is going to regret those 90 day approval time videos starting about now when peoples cans are still in jail and the 90 days has come and gone.

I say that as one of those people I have one paper app pending and one efile that's about to hit 60 days. I'm not holding my breath my e file will get here first.
Paper file check cashed mid Nov

Once the ATF gets finished with all the paper forms and just goes the the efile it’ll speed up. It’s definitely had its hiccups starting off but it’ll get better.

My point of posting it was more because the vid was showing approved eform 4s coming in. Admittedly there is no way every one will come back that quick but it proves that the ATF isn’t gonna process all paper forms before starting processing eforms like some folks have been saying (which always sounded kinda silly to me).
