its funny because if you ever email them about a form status or one getting approved while you have others pending the ATF response is always “we process them in the order received” even though they clearly don’t.

Those of y’all with FDE cans or cerakoted (colored) cans how well do the colors hold up? Thinking of having one of my cans cerakoted to match this M1A and do a GWOT theme build but not sure if the color shift will be bad on the can.

My FDE Sandman seems to be holding up well so far I've only had it about 8 months so long term is unknown but so far so good( mostly 308 out of it)

Edit alternate option just get a cover like Coletac one in fde or camo pattern

Glad to hear, I’ve hurt the finish on my Griffin Optimus with heat but my other cans (YHM and griffin) have been as hot without issues, but they’re all black.

I’ve considered a cover and I’ll probably get one as I add a magnified optic but I don’t know if I want that aesthetic.

Molyresin withstands heat better (in my opinion).AAC used it on my trusty old SDN-6, and I've used it on many form 1 cans

I ended up finding a local guy who could cerakote it, he said if I wasn’t happy with the standard coating lifespan he would re-coat it with the elite series for free.
I like how it turned out.

Thanks, it’s a touch darker on the actual brown (at least to my eyes) but I’m cool with it.

Lots of people on reddit saying they emailed the NICS liason email address and their background checks had been delayed/stuck and that got that them resolved and approved shortly after. May be worth a try.

I just emailed the person who approved my form 1's last week. If nothing comes of that I'll email the NICS too. Just saw another post on reddit about that this morning too.

Man I'm gonna be really annoyed if the government shuts down this week and the ATF stops processing forms. I'm within a month or so of one of my forms4s being approved. So close but yet so far.
