Speaking of commercials;
Did they ever air the second part of that Favre commercial? I saw the first bit, but never saw a follow-up. Must be saving it for the SB.

Close. The way GB played yesterday, your boys should have beat them. At any rate you have a worthy QB now and barring any Romo type injuries, he has a bright future.

 

Cant argue that. You would think he would know zone or off man isn't going to cut it by now.

 

Or even if they started out the game playing Zone, it clearly wasn't working well during the first half. Make adjustments at half time! Swap from Zone to Man, and see if it helps. But they stuck with zone for the whole game.

I mean, I'm obviously not complaining, since I was rooting for the Pats. Just surprised at the lack of reactivity by Pittsburgh's coaching staff.

 

Yes I strongly believe we are superbowl contenders next season. Given a few small things: Dak stays healthy. Upgrade some pass rushers, and upgrade our secondary.

And maybe just maybe ad some speed at the TE position. While Witten is amazing on the catch and run, he is still very slow. We need a youngster that can fly up the middle of the turf to disrupt defense and allow dak to deliver the ball outside to dez and beaz.

 

Pump the brakes there buddy. We just lost to a team who got creamed by ATL, and we are going to the super bowl next year?

 

And provided Jerry Jones keeps his nose out of it and doesn't mess with the team's chemistry.

You guys barely lost, and I think that Dallas would have been a better match for the Falcons than Green Bay was.

Jones will try to meddle with the team until he's dead. GB was ahead for a while though. The Dallas coaching staff needs to figure out clock management, that was the nail in the coffin.

Rodgers was on a hot streak though. Once again, Dallas needs to figure out clock management, it'll make or break you.

Once again, provided we amp up our Defense, which we will then we have a great chance in the NFC. Giants and GB were our only threats this year. And if a NFL game was 120 seconds longer, we would have won against GB. It was a "fluke loss" and that's not even the fan in me speaking. That is the common sense sports enthusiast that knows your elementary fundamentals of what a great team is vs. a very decent team. Yes I know they beat us, but they shouldn't have..... Flags and Zebras ruled in favor of GB on that day. It happens..

Now back to our Defense, so long as we get some pass rush and secondary we are golden. ATL does not scare me, Matty Ice aka Matty Mobility is a proven choker in the playoffs. Yes he has played great this season, but he is a gun slinger, therefor a hit or miss. Like he has been since day 1.

I feel good about Dallas Next season. Father time will tell.

 

I agree, these youngsters needed not 2 weeks off. They needed to stay fresh and rolling. I think that if we would have had the Zebras rule in our favor instead of GB we would have had a hell of a shoot out with the DirtyBirds. Our O-line average age is 25 and all have nice contracts, provided they stay healthy we will always have a nasty ground attack with a half decent RB.
