    He did do some stupid shit. But look at Josh Brown though, punter for the Giants, was involved in numerous DV incidents over four years. How many games did he miss? 1. Also, a lot of this shit was when Zeke was in college, as far as I understand, before he even signed a contract with the NFL. Ray Rice who was caught on video knocking out his wife, only got 2. Interesting how the NFL can't be consistent, or maybe they are now dropping the hammer. DV is not acceptable, but having varying suspensions all over the place doesn't send a very strong message to the players. I think the NFL needs to make the punishment and suspensions really severe.

    I don't understand the correlation of Ray Rice to Elliot. The suspension of 2 games to Ray Rice and he has not played since. The 'unofficial' punishment to Rice was permanent !

    I'm too, am a Vet, and I don't want the Government getting involved. The NFL should tell him what to do. It's their brand he's screwing with. The NFL lost viewers last year and it is directly attributable to Kaepernick.
