I agree with most of your points here I really do..
every kid getting a trophy has caused our country a grave issue..
I think stats just like any number game can be constructed to paint a picture though so I kinda do not fully agree with you there..
as far as extreme left and right, without touching the politics, I agree 100% with you, but I do not see much of a difference between either side and their "entitlement" bullshit cries...

mostly because the games are shitty. i barely watch any more. i watch my fantasty stats more than i do the game.

 

The NFL is only a governing body. The teams are in full control of their employees and for profit businesses. Even if they were non profit they still have a right to determine whom they chose to employ.
The only reason I have seen so much of his play is because of where I live. The only good year he had was the Superbowl year. After that, he steadily got worse.
No matter who he was protesting on behalf of there is a time and place for everything. He chose the wrong place. Disrespecting the National anthem and flag are the of the very country have fought and died defending is wrong. Yes those same people would still and are still fighting for his right to protest it is Thier right to be pissed off at the manner of protest and return the favoe

No person should be judged based on ethnic affiliation or the color of ones skin. That is the most extreme form of ignorance imaginable. Every person should be judged on the accomplishments and actions of ones self. The issue I take is the stance that persons should be given special treatment based on history or a populace as a whole. The statistics do not support that being a wise move.

 

I completely respect your opinion. I am just pissed off today because my sons soccer team lost to a team we should have beat last night because we have a player that is horrible and does not put forth any effort. Yet he played 3 quarters of the game on offence because everything has to be fair. I get it, kids new, needs to learn but to screw a teams season because he can't ride the pine for three quarters is pretty fucked up to the boys that practice three hours a day and put in the work.

 

About time, the logic was moronic that it takes time away.

 

What have we all learned here today?

- Colin Kaepernick was a good player when his hair was short, but has since pulled a "reverse Sampson" and lost his mojo.

- The NFL is a business out to extract every fucking penny it can out of an audience it doesn't fully understand.

- Racism and discrimination are fundamentally, morally, ethically, and legally wrong. So is complaining about it on company time.

I cannot agree more. I raced BMX as a kid, never did team stuff but that is crap.

I captained my summer dart team and the last 2 weeks I didn't play at all because my record sucked. The last week I had to give a couple of guys only one game out of a possible three. Why? We had a chance to win the regular season. I made it clear to all it isn't personal it's business and we didn't play 10 weeks for nothing.

 

Yeah. My son is a great player and works hard on it. He does not get upset if he loses he just works harder. Sportsmanship is always the foremost in our house. I teach the boys it is okay to lose if you are outmatched and you gave it everything you have but never be defeated. We moved up to U10 this season when my son is only 8 and even had to change teams because the coach we lost to last night felt our U8 team was to strong for the U10 league. So here we are mid way through an undefeated season, my son and his buddy I work with that moved to this team play there hearts out last night. My son never sees a minute of offence because it was not his turn to play there. The three goals we lost by were scored while my boys set out a quarter. Again I don't mind losing and getting beat but last night I had to take the boys aside and explain to them that they were not beat but were poorly coached. To not position a team providing the best opportunity to win as a coach is asinine to me!
