I've lost track over the years as to how many controversial calls have gone the Pats way no matter how its argued. I just expect it, especially toward the end of a close game.

This one cost Raiders a Superbowl, the proof is the next year they went yet faced their real coach shown here. This was definitely the better Oakland team and who knows, they (OAK) probably would have won the next year too because Gruden wouldn't of been traded for picks.

That what I mean. They get all the Calls. They don't get penalties called if they do if it's a small amount.

You forgot the packers in that list.

It's sure fun to watch the steelers fans in here still crying about the loss. Can't wait till they lose in the playoffs

This is the one that sticks out to me only because I am a Saints fan. This was in the Patriots home stadium, no call on a hold and Brady throws the game winning touchdown on this play.

Very unsimilar too the crying you did when the lions lost? Only this time it was to a controversial call (whether correct or incorrect it's controversial as it was with Dez) so people are going to have something to say about it. Can't wait till Detroit doesn't make the playoffs

They say the refs could call holding on every single play. Some are obviously more blatant than others.

The lions find a stupid way to lose every week. I don't cry over it. I accept the fact week after week that more than likely we will blow the lead somehow on some stupid ass play. Lions suck year after year. I'm used to the losing and weekly disappointment. So keep on crying steelers fan. It's very entertaining to watch you bitch over and over about a correct call

So because Steeler's fans aren't used to having their team lose and because it's a controversial call (the catch rule, not just the call in the Steeler's game) they shouldn't say anything? For the record, I bitched twice about it saying it was a shitty call and then a shitty pass by Ben to end the game and then I asked if the NFL knew what a catch was. Have fun this post season when the lions are home

Also, I'm over it. They lost. There is next week and the playoffs after that.

You're still trying to imply that I should be upset the lions may possibly not make the playoffs again. Like I'm not already used to that for the last 20+ years

I mean once Ben leaves and the Steelers are stuck with Landry "Interception" Jones.. The Steelers will be average at best

That's what's "great" about the Lions. As much as I love Stafford, he's not a league great, but he's definitely getting better. The rest of our team is still all average to slightly above average players. We can't possibly get much worse if Stafford goes out. But he's still got a lot of time left in him. One of these years we're gonna win the division.

One thing that has always puzzled me about the Lions. You have a QB now but in the past you always had guys like Gary Hogeboom. Then you guys got the WR in Calvin Johnson and then let him quit the game a la Barry Sanders. Why?

I know that day is coming. I'm not looking forward to it. Hopefully Tomlin & Crew can remedy that in the draft.
