I agree, benchmarking their current moves towards past moves I’d have to give them an A grade already. I mean unless they draft Baker Mayfield 1st overall.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
I'm kinda pissed about this. Poor Tyrod. Not a great QB, but an honorable leader, and had some great moves, and despite everything pulled us up out of our record streak. Cleveland is worse than Buffalo for where QB's go to die. At least the Bills were smart enough not to deal with Johnny Football though. Why couldn't they send him to anywhere but Cleveland or New England????:(

Yea don’t know how I feel about Richard Sherman to the Niners. I feel like I’m being forced to like my wife’s ex-boyfriend... if that makes any sense lol

I’m sure my mind will change after he makes his first big play as a Niner. And that game against the Raiders this year sill be more interesting with Craptree going against his former team with Sherm

I feel your pain. Never liked the dude, but now he's on my team. They're building around Jimmy now that they have a ray of hope. Trading time should be interesting.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Not sure how I feel about it either, but more from an injury standpoint.

3yrs/39 Million for an unproven achilles injury sounds a little risky, but if anyone can come back, it would be Sherman. Being that he is his own agent, he did well with negotiating his value and he gets to keep the 10%.

That too. The recovery from a torn Achilles varies from player to player.

Packers G.M. talked to Aaron Rodgers after decision made to release Jordy Nelson

Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst wouldn’t say whether Jordy Nelson was offered an opportunity to stay in Green Bay on a restructured deal.

“I think Jordy is a really good player, and you certainly don’t want to let him walk out there,” Gutekunst told beat writers Tuesday night, via Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. “But this is a big puzzle. There are limitations, and you can’t keep everyone.”

The Packers G.M. talked to Aaron Rodgers after deciding to release Nelson, but Gutekunst wouldn’t reveal anything about the conversation. Gutekunst, though, did allow that Nelson’s career in Green Bay likely is over after 10 seasons.

“These are tough days when you have to release a player who means so much to your organization, to your team,” Gutekunst said. “Jordy Nelson is one of the great Packers who have played here.”

Nelson, who was scheduled to make $9.25 million in base salary and count $12.5 million against the cap, turns 33 in May. He made only 53 catches for 482 yards and six touchdowns last season when Rodgers missed nine-plus games with a broken collarbone.

Still, Nelson is expected to find a healthy market with several teams in need of receiver help.

“I think it’s only natural as players get older, you see some physical decline,” Gutekunst said when asked whether he had seen decline after Nelson’s knee injury in 2015. “But I think Jordy is a very good player. He’ll contribute for somebody next year.”

It's NBC Sports so who knows right?

    So far the Patriots lose...

    Danny Amendola
    Dion Lewis
    Malcolm Butler
    Nate Solder

Ow. Not sure if contracts were offered, Butler I'm not surprised at. Lewis isn't worth 61mil. Amendola is always an injury risk.

Blount has won the SB last two years on two different teams. You should definitely bet he can do it a 3rd time

I don't think he was the special piece that made the Patsy's win the Superbowl.
