Feel bad for Jimmy G. Sucks.. Looked to be a bright spot for the 49ers.

These roughing the passer calls are getting even more horrible. The refs for giving them and the players (or player for winning academy award's best actor performance) Tap the top of Ben's head, he over-dramatically flops to the ground, and draws a roughing the passer penalty. Pathetic.

The Eagles also have a few injuries, mainly offense. Jeffries, Ajayi, Sprouls...
That sux for the 9ers though, they hung their hat on Garrapolo. Hopefully its not a nagging injury and only loses this year, he appears to have 'it' as a QB.

Aside from Kelce it's a really entertaining team to watch. He's just a bit of a dick, but that's just part of the role he plays.

    Again, No Worries.

We're still trying to figure out what's with the Pats out here.
I have no issues with them being down two in September, but they dont look like they're getting cohesive.

They do look different this year. Maybe the start of a decline.

    Ahh, my bad.

I may have misread an article, coulda sworn he was coming back this week. Thanks for the update. Not sure how much of a boost he will provide, but from what I understand, your receiving corps are lacking. When Josh Gordon and Edelman get back on the field, Patriots should see life in offense. Even though they probably won't beat the Chiefs when the time comes. ;)

It's working the other way too. Guys are going to get hurt trying to adjust at the last second. Perhaps have some black makeup on defenders hands, and if you are able to put a hand print on the QB, call it a sack? :notsure:

Miami Dolphins veteran defensive end William Hayes is done for the season after suffering an injury while trying to abide by a controversial NFL rule.

Hayes tore the ACL in his right knee while sacking Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr in the second quarter of Sunday’s 28-20 victory.

    Like it.

    Or a flag.

Or an apron...and if the D line can get the apron off the QB gently, its considered a sack. Maybe.

I read a suggestion that seems effective, but dunno how it will work.

Similar to fencing, I guess they have some sort of sensor on the tip of the fencing sword or whatever it is, and whenever the pressure is applied to the opponent, the thing lights up/or makes a sound, and the point is called. Maybe add sensors to gloves but that would be a lot of gloves depending on how defenses like to rush the QB. (With DB's, LB's, DE's, other than pass rushers)

Honestly, if I was a defender going in for a QB sack, I would just go for a very hard shove push off if it has to be the easy case instead of full form tackling and risk landing on QB for a penalty.

I think there will be a tweak on the rule before the middle of the season for this. It's getting insane. I always saw roughing the passer as when a QB gets hit 5 years after he throws the ball, it will be considered roughing the passer. Now it's a penalty the second he gets hit, the second or hardly a second, or before the ball even leaves the hand, and the rusher hits the QB and draws a flag. I'm all for player safety, but this is putting a diaper on QB's to protect ratings, not safety.
