Don't tell the chiefs fans in here because I hate the chiefs but that's the first time I've seen him play and it was impressive.

That defense is complete garbage though. Don’t expect to go too far

 

Yeah, it's pretty rough, but regardless, we can hang.

Rams supposed to boast the best defense but gave up hella points to the Vikings.

I'm not worried.

 

Every team has an off day and a great day. Those chiefs have had 4 weeks of lousy defense. That’s not promising in the long run.

Their offense is quite exciting to watch however. I will give you that.

 

Fairly new folks on the defense and we're supposed to get Eric Berry back at some point. Fingers crossed, but starting to doubt it since we were potentially trying to get Earl Thomas before he went down for the season. I'm not worried about our defense, they just need to gel some more. They hold their own when the most important time comes, that's why we haven't lost yet. I would prefer they gel without Bob Sutton, but whatever.

 

In fairness, the teams they have beaten so far all suck.

 

Just remember who is coaching the Chiefs... it will all balance out.

 

Yeah, if I were anyone but Chiefs fan, I'd roll with that assumption too.

 

As a Pats fan, I wasn’t worried about their defense last year either, bend don’t break mentality. They just chose the wrong game to break and it’s the only game that matters. Regular season is only important for making the playoffs. It’s a single game season after that.

 

Absolutely agreed.

However, I hate to be that guy, but Jeff Tripplette is the reason why we were 1 and out last year. Forward progress, my fuckin ass, Jeff. My fuckin ass.

 

Totally with all the Queefs talk so far. So far not looking like a banner year for any of our teams his year.

 

Still stuck in the past.

Chiefs hadn't beaten Steelers at their house since 1987. They gave them the beatdown despite Refs trying to help the Steelers.


Keep doubting.

 

The only gave that matters if it's a win or not is in February. But throw a party for the Chiefs beating the Steelers if that's all you have to be happy about I guess

Not throwing a party for beating the Steelers, but if people wanna bring up old stuff that shows to be the same old thing, I'll show you the same old thing we ended.

Patrick Mahomes is on another level. He has more drive than Alex Smith and a will to be the best and win his team games. That will be the deciding factor in the playoffs. Provided our defense can manage.

The Royals also hadn't gone to the World Series since 1985 before 2014. What happened? They made it twice in a row and won it in 2015. Things change.

I actually have a good feeling about this year.

Showtime is something else.

 

Good for him. There's 53 other people that need to want it as bad as he does in order to host a parade though.

The Chiefs Head Coach is still Reid correct?!? 20 years straight as a head coach and still making the same mistakes... yeah this year he gets it right, I highly doubt it!!
