Would have kept 3 points off the board if they called this fumble correctly and allowed us to march down the field and take time off the clock. Even if we didn't score, that's still 3 points off the board in a 1 point game loss.

/e: Even the still camera shot on the video CLEARLY SHOWS THE BALL COMING OUT BEFORE HE HITS THE GROUND. He never moved forward either. No wonder Jeff retired right after the game.

Even the Browns got the wrong end of this call last week vs the Raiders when they sacked Derek Carr and he fumbled. Called it forward progress.

Horrible ass officiating in the games everywhere these days.

Wow, really?!?!? Every game, against every team bad calls are made, some teams overcome, others do not. Andy Reid appears to be a great human being but lacks terrifically as a head coach. To blame the defensive coordinator is blaming the coach, he hired him. I truly want Reid to win a SB but he is incapable of doing so.
Stop blaming the refs for losing in the playoffs.

 

Proof is there in the video, man. Ball leaving Mariota's hands as he's sacked before it hits the ground which is by rule a fumble and recovered by Justin Houston. You tell me that's not a fumble, I'll wait.

Bad officiating affects games. That's the only play I had a gripe with at the playoffs that actually affected the outcome of the game.
