It is what it is. I am sure if I was born and raised in Mass or that area I would have been a Pats fan and I would be swinging from TB's nuts. Thankfully I am not and thus hate the man, LOL... I have a close friend that is from Boston and is probably the biggest Pats fan on the planet. Like the kind that attends games flying from the west coast and goes to the stadium early to help shovel snow and shit. He would blow Tom and would be so proud he would snap chat himself doing it. The years I took a beating from him as a Colt's fan galvanized my hate.

 

Well yes I am a lifelong fan. I will however be the first to say when I think he or they fuck up as well.

Personally I always thought Bledsoe was a dumbass, and he really lost favour by not attending the parade for the first Super Bowl win. Plus he was so arrogant it was disgusting. Stage diving is not something he should have been doing either..

 

Personally I wonder if he'll ever live up to potential. Between holding a clipboard and now being out for a year, the timing of it all sucks for him

 

See the difference? Also, TB destroyed or “lost” his phone when the judge asked for it during Deflate Gate.

I’m other side of the spectrum. I want my team’s leader to be so personally vested in winning that they lose a little bit of rational thinking. Not over the top Vontaze Burfict/ Draymond Green style but the Brady/Jordan/Kevin Garnett crazy. Not a pats fan, but Brady dressing down anyone and everyone on the sideline after a bad series is what drives greatness. Like him or hate him. Even at work, some of the biggest jerks at the top of the chain may not last forever but often deliver ground breaking results.

 

Being a sore loser and not leading by example are not good leadership qualities. You can still call out people and get up their ass about mistakes when they screw up, but being a man about it is what separates douchebag crybabies from actual leaders.

 

I don’t disagree. I do think WINNING requires a little different quality than leading. Almost everyone hates Bellichick right? Despite that, would anyone say he’s not one of the greatest coaches?

What I am sick of is the complete lack of professionalism in the sport. I don't want to see your gay celebration. Most of these players are making what equates to what I make a year in the 15 min they are on the field in one game. Some make 60k for every min they are on the field. So you caught a ball, that is what you are paid to do. I think it is funny, every player that wanted to protest during the anthem and not one of them took the opportunity to protest or do anything symbolic during the now legal celebration time. No, can't do that because it would take the attention off of yourself. The majority are a bunch of classless buffoons.

The best is when a team is getting blown the hell out and they score with 3 min remaining still down north of 21 and the whole team is in the end zone doing some stupid shit. I am like, really!

 

So then Aaron and Green Bay should have been punished as well. Nuff said.

The phone thing I'm not arguing seems suspicious of course. Pretty sure destroyed. However..as a layperson, I keep my phone locked doubly and don't let it out of my sight ever. Anytime I replace it I destroy the old one, same with my laptop.

Why?

My second job (which I use both those items for) makes me and my devices privy to biographical information for hundreds, if not thousands, of people. I don't want that liability of it getting into the wrong hands.

 

While the Thomas ode to Joe Horn did make me chuckle, I do agree with this. The stupidest move the league made in banning team celebrations long ago was "it takes away time from the game". So, the Lambeau Leap is still allowed for instance and that takes time away too?

 

No argument about being overpaid although I get it. No one is paying money to come see me in person or watch me on tv, supervise a production line. If they did, my salary would go up. If I could do what they do, I would. I don’t like it, but I get it.

As for the celebrations, I’ll be honest, many of them are hilarious. Seen a limbo last Sunday. I was cracking up. Clearly with the new rules favoring offenses, the NFL gets the goal is entertainment and to me they’re delivering. I’m not too political so I ignore the protest stuff.

 

I enjoy it when a player hands the official the ball like a professional and goes back to work.

 

I have no issue with that. LOL. It is this simple, acting like a fool for something you are paid handsomely to do is moronic! Its the the very reason you are there, it is your job description. Great, you did what you are paid for. Now go do it again. Would you think it smart to jump a champion race horse to celebrate a win. No, he could do it but it is not what he is paid to do. If the horse wins a race it is celebrated, the NFL has this process also, it is called the trophy and ring you get if you win the super bowl. Until you achieve that moment you have not accomplished shit as for what you are paid to do so get back out there and work towards the damn goal and stop dancing like a buffoon.

 

Anyone remember Kendrys Morales a few years ago hitting the game winning home run and being out for a year injuring himself jumping on home plate celebrating?
