LOL..I said that about my 9 year old nephew, all he knows is the Red Sox winning 2 World Series. He's bummed they didn't make the playoffs last year and I had to explain 86 years to him.

Rice and Julian Peterson(sp). Rice was gonna get paid but when he was in Oakland the Niners were eating his cap# almost same as he was with them. Julian was another big contract that got no return.

Stokes was the one I was trying to think of the other day..

    FLASH !!...

It appears that Michael McCoy formerly offensive co-ordinator for the Broncos has officially accepted the head coach position for the San diego chokers....

I long for the day I can call them the chargers again.. (except they'll probably be in L.A. )

    We'll see

Remember the LA Raiders? Another great chapter...

How the fuck can LA not have a team? It's like the single fucking largest market in the country.

Florida has 3 NFL teams, and a population of 18,801,310

California has 3 teams (well, 1, plus two halves right now) and a population of 37,253,956. LA county alone is 10,393,185.

Not that I WANT LA to have a team. They can suck it. And if they do get a team, they can call it the Smogsuckers, or Boobjobbers.

    The LA Suckers.
I fondly remember the old Ram/Niner rivalry. And Al fucked everyone he ever dealt with. Like how long did that set of lawsuits go on with Alameda County and Oakland? Didn't he sue LA too?

True, look how long the Rams were in L.A.

FWIW the Chargers DID start in L.A. & the head coach was Al Davis
before Sid Gilman (go figure huh)

I know right ? That whole deal went down kinda weird IMO...

I'll tell you old, my first NFL game I went to wasn't NFL, it was the AFL & it was the chargers playing the jets in Balboa stadium (which has been gone for at least 40+ years.....

LA is looking to bring the NFL back to its city, but will only do so if they can get 2 teams to share a stadium (similar to NYG and NYJ). Some of the teams that I've heard that are in that converstaion are:

Raiders (because they already have a fan base there)
    Rams (same as Raiders)
    Jaguars (shitty fanbase, no offense)
    Buccaneers (same as Jaguars)

    Two teams? WTF.

If they got one NFC team (Rams), that would give CA 2 NFCs and 2 AFCs.

If they moved the Jags, they'd have to rename them the Cougars.

If they moved the Buccaneers, they'd have to rename them the Johnny Depps.

St Louis can just become Titans, Colts, or Bears fans.

Yea, why else would they have to black out games and cover seats? Only the teams with the best fan bases have to do that.
