How come this is a civil and not criminal matter?

 

Civil is her bringing the case, criminal is the state.

Sexual assault is a crime typically criminally prosecuted by local, state or federal authorities.

Kraft's could always get AB the same legal team that made his low rent hand job go away.

 

The lawyers that Kraft can afford are probably at least an order of magnitude more expensive than the ones that AB could afford.

 

I find it unusual that the DA says NO CRIMINAL charges are pending....just civil...

If he did the crime, I want him to do the TIME... not just fatten someone's bank account …. If that is Old fashioned, too F!@#$ bad...… And I am a Pat's fan.....

If they don't have enough evidence other than he said/she said, they can't really move forward with a criminal case.

But you can pretty much sue for anything in a civil case, so that is what she's doing it sounds like.

 

Or any celebrity/wealthy person, really

I’m sure Cam had his priorities in order, making sure he was dressed well for the post game conference. The Carolina fans are happy with that, who cares about the loss?!?

 

It’s humorous how chippy KC fans have gotten considering they haven’t won a championship in the SB era.

The last time I can remember the chiefs being good enough to get walked out of the playoffs was when Priest Holmes played.

 

They've come a long way under Andy Reid, but if I remember right before he took over in '12 (or '13?) you could toss a coin on whether they'd have a winning or a losing season. I think the year before Reid started they only won 2 or 3 games all season.

Edit- I won't deny that Arrowhead looks like a nice stadium, though.
