    I tend to agree with Jeff on this one. It's a football game. An injury could happen on ANY play. Look what happened to Jimmy G last year. With a QB sneak there is less sudden impacts. Guys do not get up a head of steam. Shit happens.

    Advice: That's up from the fourth-team on Wednesday. Speaking after Wednesday's practice, OC Eric Bieniemy said "Pat looked like Pat." Mahomes seemed to earn similar plaudits on Thursday. It is still highly unlikely that he starts Sunday night against the Packers, but the idea cannot be dismissed out of hand. This is unlikely to become a game-time decision type of situation.     Yeah, I’m not going to argue your points but respect them nonetheless.

    Instead I’ll restate my ‘he was compromised w the bad ankle (yes, it was the opposite leg) to begin with that made him (I know many will not agree) susceptible to further injury’ stance.

    I hope he has a full recovery with no further issues w both injuries. He makes for a more competitive NFL for sure.

    Understood. But just to put a bow on this, EVERY player in the NFL is dinged up. I get he's a franchise QB, but it's the nature of the game. And, these guys are ultra competitive, and will lie to coaches and trainers to stay in the game. Right, so all the more reason to sit the guy. But............$$$$$$$$$$$$

    Stuck at work on game day is the worst... ( I'm waiting on news from my nephew to see if his kid made it to a hockey tourny finals...10-year olds, some with impressive skills!!! It's about an hour and a half from me but it will start at 3:30 if they make it...)

    I agree on Drew, hope he makes it through the game without exacerbating the injury. Bret Favre has stated QBs hitting their hands on helmets/shoulder pads is pretty common....
