    I don't think that is the case. He's on a horrible team with very little support, making it hard to get the numbers/output he had in Pittsburgh. From what I've watched he is busting his ass out there, been a great teammate (per articles) and doing everything he can to help that hopeless team win a game. Most likely, the Jets are realizing he isn't the missing piece to a championship team but rather going back to rebuild mode (vs. contention mindset). Get picks to fill greater needs than an expensive RB who can only do so much.

    Perhaps for your own amusement, but Lynch and Shanahan are not stupid. It will never happen. Besides, they have Sanders now. They don't need a head case. The team is squared away. Not if the QB can make some progress this will be looking up for the Number Two team in the NFL Power Rankings.
