    By that standard the cowboys are a championship team as well.
    2012 you lost the SB (Fair, Dallas hasn’t done that in a couple decades)

    aside from that it was 88,89 then 94?

    by my definition that is sticking with a team that sucks for a number of years.

    maybe I’ve bumped my head and don’t make sense..

    You stick with a team because they're your team, win or lose, not because they are winning this year and move to another team next year. Anything less is faithless. I've lived and died with the niners since the days of Gene Washington and John Brody. Sometimes you have to to wait out the bad times which make the good times all the sweeter. It sure is fun to watch now.

    Living through the ‘70, ‘80 & ‘90s Pats wasn’t easy.

    Fans in the stands w bags over their heads.
    Banned from MNF.
    Endless seasons getting their asses kick by pretty much everyone.
    Fearing the Fish, Bills and Jets when the Pats were competitive.
    Getting some hope when Parcells became the HC but seeing how he bailed before the SB was especially tough.

    Others may remember it differently...
