So mason Rudolph tries to get Garret’s helmet off, garret gets Rudolph’s off successfully and swings it at him

If you’re a QB, maybe don’t try to rip off the helmet of a big defensive lineman. You’re going to get your ass kicked.

 

That was freakin crazy!

 

I like how Rudolph immediately went from trying to act tough and fight to crying like a bitch to the refs.

 

And now the highlights aren’t even showing Rudolph ripping at Garret’s helmet.
Sure, he shouldn’t have hit him with it. But, Rudolph shouldn’t be trying to be billy badass and rip Garret’s off, either.

 

Grabbing a helmet and pulling one off and swinging it at someone’s dome and hitting them with it is way different. You been drinkin? Lol

Suspend them both, they’re both equally responsible for what happened. It’s not like Rudolph sat there innocently while getting beat on, he started it, tried to keep it going and started crying once it got a little too real.

The O linemen are separating the whole thing and Rudolph kept going at him. What a badass going after a guy when 2 300 pounders are pushing a guy backward

I hate Mason Rudolph after this.

 

I mean technically Garrett started it with that bush league shit of trying to bring him to the ground after he had already handed the ball off.... Garrett could have just let him go after wrapping him up since it was clear the ball was already gone. Just my humble opinion though.

Two lineman were going at the qb. One hit him over the head with a helmet, the other hit him late after the fact. Point is I could whoop Rudolph’s ass, let alone two lineman. It also should be known I’m not a steelers or Browns fan, lol.

 

Yeah, but that isn’t all that uncommon in the NFL and generally draws a foul and favorable field position. All Rudolph had to do was get tackled like usual and be done, instead he thought it would be a good idea to start a fight.

I’m not a fan of either team but all the commentators were wrapped up on the helmet hit and completely glossed over who really started the fighting after the play. Pretty much seemed like the usual QB can do no wrong approach.
