    That will be a rough game for Ertz if he does play. Him and Wentz have been carrying the team the last couple of weeks, so a big loss if he is out.

    That is a good question. I still think the Niners/Saints are the team to beat in the NFC.

    You can see the physical growth in most sports but football has so much more room for strategy and and tactics as well. Every olympics sees new records and new tricks developed. Athletes see what's been done and break new ground and I include performance art in this. QB's are or should be at the cutting edge if they expect to succeed. If not, another aspect of the team has to be even more outstanding. Coaches know a lot more about what needs to be taught about positioning and the cues to look for to anticipate plays. As much as I enjoy watching Jimmy G he's a throwback and his lack of above average mobility is an obvious weakness compared to the rest of the league's top QB's. To his credit, he doesn't flinch from impending hits and makes good throws. Having a boatload of weapons to go to helps and they are all in it together. I expect the rest of this post season to go much like yesterday with a lot of great games.

    I turned the TV on just after that happened. It sounded like Pererra was also questioning the spot of the ball after the penalty was assessed. If so, that would make two weeks in a row with some seriously bad spotting errors.
