I can understand that. I've never been a Seahawks fan, but I loved watching Lynch during the post season.

    lol yea I know right...

it's more so now in the last few years as he gets older and still plays weekend in and weekend out though

he takes a lot of heat from the monday night quarterbacks albeit deservingly at times

I appreciate his off the field character, the guy is a solid person I believe and the NFL seems to lack a lot of that

imagine if AB could have figured out how to handle himself as a human, the pats would still be in the hunt IMHO

yea the cheating scandals are serious there is no denying that
I would like to give benefit of the doubt in a lot of those situations
but for real come on some of the most flagrantly missed calls in the history of sports have been in favor of the pats, that is hard to accept I agree

with all money the pats have though you would have thought they could have caged that animal AB, release him for a couple hours every sunday

Good thing I wasn't watching this thread during the game, you guys doing my Vikes dirty complaining and crapping on our players. We were fairly healthy overall but our secondary has been not great this year and we had 2 big CB contributors out this week due to injuries. I know it is nothing compared to other teams injuries (Eagles especially), but they still had to adjust for it, play some guys in non-standard positions, and get tricksy with the scheming (luckily that is Zim's specialty). They pretty much shut down possibly the best offense in the NFC this year, if nothing else one of the elite QBs along with his record setting WR. I know the Saints were the 3rd seed, but many had them pegged as better than the 49ers, GB (lol), and the Seahawks. Also, I don't think there were any egregious calls that you can point to and say they were horrible. There were a couple that could go either way on both sides, but claiming refball here is just making excuses.

Even with all that, seems like not getting any respect here. Not saying we are a juggernaut that is headed to the SB for sure, but hopefully we can play well against the 49ers and have another great game like yesterday if nothing else. Maybe I should hope they keep getting looked past since they seem to play best when they are being doubted.

    SKOL!

A few additions to make me feel cool.
I guess you didn't watch that last play. Congrats to your team.

The only thing I don't like about the game (and my same complaint as KC/NE last year) is that I don't like that a touchdown wins in OT. I think each team should get a shot. If team 1 scores a TD, that just makes team 2 need to score one. And I'm not a fan of either team, I just don't like that aspect of the NFL with OT. I often root for the underdog, and in this scenario, I was rooting for the Vikings.

I think OT should be, if a team has the lead, and the ball, they win. Otherwise keep playing. (So a safety would still will the game)

I agree, both teams should have a chance with the ball. I've never liked that about the NFL, whoever is playing.

Vikings might have a chance against the Niners, depending on which version of Kirk Cousins shows up. But honestly my $ is on the Niners for that game.
    I think it'll be:
Seattle > Green Bay (annoyingly, since GB is my backup team)
    Niners > Vikings
    Chiefs > Texans
    Ravens > Titans

Ravens/Titans will probably be a blowout. Chiefs should be able to handle the Texans without too much trouble, although lightning may strike. Niners/Vikings will be close IF the right Kirk Cousins shows up. If not...Curbstomp.

I think the Seattle/Green Bay game depends on which version of GB shows. Sometimes they play like a great team, and sometimes they play like they stayed up all night.

    Hot off the presses...

    https://www.foxnews.com/sports/cowboys-hire-mike-mccarthy-reports

The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly agreed to hire Mike McCarthy as their next head coach hours after officially parting ways with Jason Garrett who had spent the last nine seasons in the same position.

The Cowboys’ official announcement is set for later in the week, FOX Sports’ NFL insider Jay Glazer reported. According to NFL Network, McCarthy had informed other teams that he was out of the running as their head coach and was dead set on becoming the Cowboys’ next coach.

McCarthy won a Super Bowl title with the Green Bay Packers. He spent 13 seasons as the Packers head coach from 2006 to 2018 and had a 125-77-2 record. He was fired after Week 13 of the 2018 season.

McCarthy, 56, had previously interviewed with the Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers and New York Giants. Dallas becomes the second team to make a decision on a vacant head coaching position. The Washington Redskins had previously hired Ron Rivera to replace Bill Callahan as head coach.

Dallas officially let go of Garrett on Sunday after much humming and hawing over what the team was going to do. The Cowboys had reportedly been interviewing other candidates while Garrett was still the head coach officially.

“We are extremely grateful to Jason Garrett for his more than 20 years of service to the Dallas Cowboys as a player, assistant coach and head coach,” team owner Jerry Jones said in a statement.

“His level of commitment, character and dedication to this organization has been outstanding at every stage of his career. In his nine full years as a head coach, he guided our team to three division championships while also having them in position to play for the NFC East title in the last game of the year in four other seasons. His tenure of leadership will be characterized by his ability to produce teams that always played with great effort, emotion and passion, and he represented our organization with great pride, loyalty and respect.”

Garrett’s contract was set to expire on Jan. 14. His future was in doubt after the Cowboys lost in Week 16 and 17 losing a shot at the NFC East title.

Dallas finished 8-8 during the 2019 season. The team had made the playoffs three times under Garrett but failed to get further than the NFC Divisional Round.

You know what I meant. Who is Collingsworth? If you meant Chris Collinsworth, nope. He got a room last night with Russel Wilson.

    Eh...
Honestly even if the "good" team shows up, I don't see them getting past Seattle this year.

    True.

Alright, I'll put an asterisk on my prediction; If for some reason the 'Good' Packers and the 'Bad' Seahawks show up for the same game, then the Packers will take it.
