I recall the commentators saying at that point you gotta just let em play..and IMO if one was flagged both should have been, which if they called the pushoff as illegal contact would have cancelled the holding IMO

In that case they would have offset and you replay the down

Over all It was a great game and the ravens came to play. My Buddy is a Huge Ravens fan (he was born and raised to be one).

Right after that play he texted me.. "That was a crap call"

Meh, that's silly. As a Seattle sports fan we have been jerked around by the refs forever. (I understand were almost even now) but in any play of any game you can take a still shot and find a penalty. Showing me this I see the jersey grab sure, but where are Crabtree's hands? I think they're in the defenders chest pushing trying to get separation. A few frames later of the same shot and you can see it clearly.

Anyone else notice the no call on holding in the end zone on the safety? Should have had 12 seconds on the clock due to it, not 4. Oh well, we made it there and I can't complain much about that.

Yup a lot of people did, they woulda had less than 12 seconds as they started with 11, maybe around 8. However with that being said, it would be half the distance to the goal and replay the down if it had been accepted and if not they still woulda had the 4 seconds..

actually, would have been a safety. Any penalty in the end zone against offense is a safety

Good call, didnt think of that. So they woulda had 4 seconds to launch a hail mary, but you never know.

With holding in the end zone the play still would have ran the clock, no? I didn't think they reset the game clock on a holding ..

I was going off the 4 second run ginn had on The punt. So 8 seconds at the penalty then the 4 second run, 4 seconds for a Hail Mary. Regardless the league isn't going to do anything about it.

Hurling the ball up for grabs and hoping for a pass interference call or an acrobatic catch by a talented receiver does not an elite quarterback make. Flacco had a good run this post season, but I would hesitate to put the "elite" label on him. Lets see what he does going forward with a new contract. I predict that Baltimore does not go to the playoffs next year.

Depends on who's calling the plays IMO. Ray Rice as I see it wasn't used effectively for a good chunk of the year.

The refs did a good job of not interfering and letting the guys play. I would rather have a bunch of no calls than a game full of penalties. I saw plenty that could have been called on both teams.

I'm not even a Flacco fan, but he has thrown a good deep ball all season. He underthrew Jacoby Jones on that falling down/getting up/raping Chris Culliver, but other than that he throws a great, tight, over the shoulder deep ball. I wouldn't call that hurling the ball up for grabs. 11 TD to 0 INT in the playoffs is a legit run. He had the stats of an "elite" QB in the playoffs. You can't deny that. Like I said, I'm not a Flacco fan, but dude deserves some props after this postseason.

No he doesn't. He is not elite. Wilson, RG3, and kap are all much better QB's. flacco had a good defense and made some lucky throws.

Haven't you learned yet D ?.. There's only one elite QB in the NFL and his name is Tom Brady and everybodys else sucks balls..

I'd like to know why they didn't let Kaep try running the thing in when they were 1st and goal at least once..

I know. I just forgot

There were some questionable play calls. Kaep finally looked like a young kid in the first half. After that first play got called back for illegal formation, he looked like he might have been a little rattled and finally realized he had just started in the Super Bowl in his 10th start. I think he'll be a big threat in years to come. SF is sittin pretty for the next few years if they can keep everyone healthy.

My Falcons just need to draft a RB and a pass rusher. If they could have a legit threat at RB, it would open up a whole new world for Ryan/Julio/Roddy/(I wish) Gonzalez...

John Abraham is about 100 now and needs someone across from him that can draw more attention for him to be effective.
