Panthers have now won 3 in a row. Surprised and happy. Meanwhile over in Washington - Rams game, 6 sacks on Alex Smith in his comeback after injury replacing Kyle Allen who was head knocked. Ron Rivera’s style of offensive line can’t stop shit legacy carries over from his time with Carolina.

 

Not so bad especially missing Run-CMC.

For context I've been a fan for life, so I suffered through the god awful times..I'm definitely not a "pink hat" fan.

 

I’d appreciate it if you could take your shitty coach Matt Patricia back. He’s somehow made the Lions worse than they had been for the previous years.

There was a time I rooted for the Pats, back when they were getting clobbered on a weekly basis and couldn't seem to find their way out of that hole. I then applauded when Belichick brought the "team first" constant rotation of talent. In the end, the fuckery and bullshit of BB and Josh McDouchebag's attempted assassination of the Broncos along with Tommy's arrogance earned my unending dispect. (My wife continues to hate TB for leaving his pregnant GF, so I have constant reinforcement).

I respect a fan that weathers bad times, but I may not respect the team or certain personnel on that team.

Seeing SF suck makes me sad, I was hoping a full strength seahawks 9'ers game again this year.

 

It bewilders me how he’s still head coach for Detroit. At least when the lions had Caldwell running that circus they had an over 500 win rate and had a couple playoff appearances. Patricia is NOT a good head coach and badly needs to be fired. They also need to get rid of the Fords as owners. They don’t give a shit if their team ever wins

 

Too many high priced guys back then not worth it. I never thought Drew Bledsoe was ever good enough to win a ring..and it will always irk me that he didn't show up for the parade after the first win.

I know Tom and Bridget ended their relationship, that's about it. Not sure who/why etc, perhaps it was mutual/amicable.

For comparison, I love the Red Sox but always hated Roger Clemens..even when he played for the Sox.

 

You've pointed out the real problem. They could have HOF coach and that team would still suck. The Fords need to step aside for an owner that can actually show some interest.

 

Ya it’s crazy. On paper, they have a pretty solid team. They’ve had some incredible players that they just ruin their careers. Maybe once Martha bites the dust her kids will have some sort of awakening and start making real moves with the team. Or sell the team to someone who actually cares. The lions really aren’t that bad of a team most years but they just have terrible coaching and no one higher up will hold them accountable

 

I hope for the fan's sake once Martha's taking the long nap they don't fall into the same hole the Bowlen kids are digging for Denver. It seems when rich kids are thrust into the spotlight it's rarely a good look.
