Dicks started in Bingotown if you were familiarly with CB lingo in the 70's. Dick would role over in his grave if he knew what they have turned into today. Used to be guns, hunting and fishing gear. And was a step above Herter's. But that is another story.

My father would drive from Chemung to Horseheads to pick up his load and then back to Bingotown and from there to what ever exit Berman's would tell him to go to so that they could switch trailers. And drive it back. Exit 24 was his most common haul on the turnpike but would often go to Worcester Mass. Which was an overnight trip and take 2 days.

The dispatcher would call on the party line and it was my job to listen to the phone rings from 5-7 PM unless I was in football practice. Or jerking teats on milk cows.

When I was a kid playing small fry football I asked Dad which Pro team I should pull for. He said the Bills, they are the nearest to us and the home team. He also said they sucked. It was the early 60's. Watched them on the black and white console TV that sat in the living room. Would climb up on the roof to tune the antenna in for better reception to get rid of "snow".

Kids now days have no clue. Like Hollywood when Crocodile Dundee's girlfriend says she can walk across the whole State of NY in 6 hours.

Sorry, but those guys bug me more than Brady, because well I just don't see his lips moving at me as much. I'm thinking of boycotting any products they advertise. Oh, I already am.

Yeah looking like they’re trying to piece back the old puzzle. Patricia coming back from his failure of a HC stint. McDaniels staying and Edelman supposedly staying and hopefully healthy. Need a QB; I’m fine if it’s Cam and just give the guy time to learn the system, I think he can be a decent QB but they have a lot of options in the market now. Jimmy G, Desean, Stafford to name a few. Need a few of the guys who took the season off for COVID to be comfortable to return too.
