Better late than never, I guess. I'm not making any bold predictions though.

New Orleans D seems to have Bradys number. Ole Tom was taking a beatdown yesterday.

Now if other teams will watch that film, and maybe learn something?

I expected a lower scoring game but not 9-0. Bucs better hope for some luck in the injury department yikes

Clearly “Bountygate” has come back under Sean Payton again. The clear knee targeting on Tampa’s receivers and running back shows the coach is still willing to play unethically to scrape any chance at a title at any cost.

Yea that was my first thought when the two leading receivers were taken out of the game. When all that went down years ago I was of the opinion that Peyton shouldn’t be allowed to coach in the league ever again but apparently that’s not even in the discussion. Intentionally trying to injure players for a fee in a league that has worked pretty hard to make the game safer for all seems egregious enough to warrant a lifetime suspension. But that’s just me

It’s TACKLE football and the better team won. Injuries happen.
I’m sure there’s a flag football league to watch somewhere…

If so then why was Payton handed a full season suspension for this in the past. Do you also believe the targeting calls to the head are also B.S. or that concussions are part of the game and they should do nothing about them? :der:

Ok I’ll take the bait. But there’s one major flaw. You’ve got a coach that had well documented evidence of a bounty system for his players to intentionally injure the opposition and get paid to do so.

I’ve been pretty vocal about letting players play the game and accept the inherent risk associated. However we are learning that the damage isn’t just painful joints in older age.. it’s that people are twisting off and killing themselves. Look at Antonio Brown’s past behavior.. it’s a direct byproduct of continued TBI and concussions over a length of time.

all that said, we have to strike a balance here where we protect player but also let them play the game. I don’t know the answer besides turning a blind eye or shifting the league to limited pads and a rugby style approach to tackling and contact.

This is tackle football. Injuries happen. The rules are already tilted to favor the offense and from reading these posts you guys want flag football.

If you're not watching the Browns/Raiders game...then good for you. It's pitiful.
