As a KC guy I have a growing dislike for Cincy (0-3) last 2 years. But they did get screwed in the playoff adjustment. If a KC/Buf game is neutral because we don’t know who would have been top seed, and a Cin/Bal coin flip would have been used if we didn’t know who would have won that division (had Bal won Week 18) then why is Buf/Cin not a neutral site or coin flip this week? Had Cincy won that cancelled game they’d be the #2 seed and Buf the #3.

 

Would love to see the niners beat the chefs for revenge.

 

It’s rare for any quarterback to be perfect. Usually the winner is the guy who either gets lucky or doesn’t get rattled when he’s unlucky. Purdy’s been both. He’s had a few picks but also dropped ones or overturned by penalty. Montana won the catch game after throwing 2 pics. We saw an even more impressive example last week from Trevor. We see unexpected plays in the NFL and occasionally unexpected performances. If Purdy can continue this run it will be one for the ages. It’s the kind of crucible we rarely get to see. 3rd string rookies just don’t get this far, certainly not after getting thrown in mid season.

 

It would (possibly will) be a great game! I’d give SF the slight edge but then again, KC is the last team to beat SF. That would be a story, a rookie ‘Mr. irrelevant’ beating the league MVP in the Super Bowl. Not a story I want to see … this year.

 

Well I wouldn’t mind seeing Bosa chase Mahomes into Ebukam’s warm embrace a time or ten.

 

But that would also mean Jackson gets to do dumb tiktok dances at the game.

 

I’m sure Arik Armstead will get to put in his contribution.

 

I heard all throughout the day is they were injured players 0n the Oline. It will make it tougher but the Bills D sucks.

 

I’d be down with a full blown shootout.

bills D has some key players back at least. I don’t think they are as beat up as they’ve been

 

A week off would have helped. Lol

 

Joe has to be both quick and patient, quick to get it out and patient moving the chains. If they can pull the db’s in a double move might spring a play over the top but it has to develop fast. Deep drop and hang in the pocket = sack.

Same way this Wink Mother Fer is being hailed as a D guru. We will see if he can keep Hurts in the pocket and limit the running yards.

 

I don’t doubt the abilities of anyone remaining. This weekend is when we start putting them against defenses that also have the status to have a say. Bills D may not be as good as some but they aren’t road kill like the Vikings or Raiders were. Those teams along with the inconsistent scorers are getting weeded.

Much of Purdy's performance will be determined by the protection he receives--that and his God given talent.

He can inspire his teammates to perform at a higher level simply by how he conducts himself.

The QB position is central to how a team performs...at least 80-90% of how that position controls the line of scrimmage determines the morale of the players on the field and the sidelines.

 

Some good football coming this weekend. Young Purdy will face a stronger pass rush from Dallas. I don't know if rolling out of the pocket to the left every time will work. On the flip side, if the Niners D is the Niners D, they are going to rattle Dak, and there could be an interception or two. I think the Niners need to stick with some quick short passes and the ground chuck for the first downs.

I think KC over Jax. Buf over Cin. Ny over PHI.

I think Philly peaked too early and is going to tank in the game against NY

can’t make a prediction on the Dallas game because of superstition

 

It’s certainly possible.

I think NY is going to surprise Philly tomorrow night

 

I think the Bengals are going to surprise everyone and send Buffalo on vacation.
