Everybody’s been waiting for that to happen and it may but Jalen isn’t exactly a grizzled veteran with a boatload of playoff experience either and he hasn’t been quite so successful against elite defenses and this one is top shelf. I’d like to see Kyle cut Brock loose and unleash the dogs of war, those dogs are our only real advantage. Playing it safe like we did with bunch formations against the Cowboys offered better protection but stifled the running game until an injury loosened things up. Risk/reward, we’ll see how it plays out but his nature is to be conservative and wait for the other team to flinch before going in for the kill.

 

I have no dog as I am a Rams fan but would like to see the 9ers win it all with purdy.

I'm talking big games overall. I think Purdy's biggest stage before this postseason was a bowl game against Oregon. Hurts lead two major college programs that were competing for conference/national titles each season and has two himself. Plus he has another year in the league. So yeah, there's more experience in pressure situations there. Whether you think that makes a big difference or not. I think Purdy has a defensive look that forces him into finally making a mistake. That's it, that's basically what I think is the difference in the game.

I'd much prefer a Niners-Bengals game. Eagles-Chiefs would be my worst case.
