I’m immune now.

 

Individual awards are nice to look back on and help at free agency but no player I would want would prefer them to super bowl wins. They all feel sick about it but it’s hard to win without any qb at all.

 

Grease matches the general motif and dynamics of Philadelphia as a whole.

 

Boy, you really despise the City of Brotherly Love! lol

Our family has enjoyed the historical visits when we first arrived in Delaware in 2006--PHL trips are far and few now.

Fortunately, we have a homegrown good friend who moved from Philly to Delaware and knows all the places to visit or avoid.

The town you are from is quaint and near The Creamery in Kennett Square.

We also visit Glen Mills for the closest Whole Foods shopping for us.

There's also this nice Tavern called "The Whip" near you too.

I know big cities aren't my thing either...I grew up in L.A. in the suburb of El Sereno.

Living in Rural/Urban Delaware for over 15 years now (minus 2008-2011 when our family lived in Italy) makes me appreciate this local area.

We have Delaware Beaches to visit for at least 3-4 months out of the year.

Our family transition to the east coast has been a positive experience.

As for the game, I can't imagine what's gonna happen in Philly regardless if they win or lose; because you know either result will have a reaction.

I work in Phila a few times a year. I would not be a fan of any ‘class A’ city to be honest. I visited NYC once and I’ll never go back. I’m happy living at least 40 miles SW of Phila.

The First State was quite the transition when the USAF assigned me to Dover, AFB in July 2006.

Both our daughters graduated from CRHS with an assignment to Aviano in between: 2008 & 2012 years of graduation.

As our family has done on every assignment, we ventured out locally to discover lots of giant ponds that aren't big enough to be lakes.

Then, we discovered the beaches! First, Rehoboth...then Dewey & Bethany, but I've gotten attached to Indian River.

Our family is happy to be close enough to big cities but can go home to a quieter setting.

Getting some brunch at Grotto’s after grocery shopping.

I got wings and a vegetable tray as well as chips for tomorrow. Might even cook the breaded shrimps to add to the wait for 6:30pm start.

I bought a 65” LG TV from BestBuy last year and had them mount it in the wall too!

I’m set for the last game of the 2022 NFL season.
