At what point does Bilicheck retire? Once Brady left NE is brutal to watch.

 

It does kind of throws shade on his "genius" status since Brady left.

 

Proof that even good coaches still need players. It takes a good front office to get them and keep enough of them as their contracts grow along with a coaching staff that doesn’t bungle the usage of their talents in the game while teaching the details. I don’t think he’s as good at building a team as he is at moving them down the field and the pieces just aren’t there anymore. Rarely you end up with a player who’s absorbed so much they can do that job by themselves(Brady & Manning reached that level) but they still need talent around them that’s been coached to a high level and makes the same reads. You can tell which head coaches are good at identifying the better player coaches(guys that turn into OC’s and DC’s) by where those coaches end up. Brian Griese may have something to do with Niners success and why Lance is gone. I have to wonder if Sam Darnold might acquire more ability just from spending time with a really good qb coach. Identifying who can learn seems more critical than seeing who can run/throw.

I think he’s stubborn and a lot more tough mentally than Bill Walsh was. There’s a lot to be said for going out on top though and what he left behind was certainly capable of carrying on the tradition and focus on building coaching staffs. That “tree” is still growing.

 

On a side note. Where is the best place to get tickets for Dallas vs Carolina Nov 19th? I am treating my nephew who lives a few minutes away from stadium. Graduation gift.

 

I just googled ‘worst fan bases’ and the first 3 top 10 lists all had Eagles fans, and they were all lists that included college and other pro sports. One list had both Eagles and Phillies on it. Earned or not, it’s a real perception. All that said, I REALLY enjoyed watching the Eagles beat the Pats in the Super Bowl. That was my one and only day as an Eagles fan.

 

Got my paper bag and scissors ready for the rest of the season. They’re dismal in all phases with special teams being the standout.

 

It’s going to be hard to top the run you had. That paper bag isn’t an empty one.

 

My only 2 options at camp are Mac and Daniel Jones getting piss pounded.

 

I’m not denying some of the Phila fans doing any of those things but mainstream media is known to target one thing or city in this case to sway a survey. As we have all witnessed over the last 3 years

I felt the same way sitting next to a bunch of falling over themselves shitfaced E A G L E S fans at XXXIX wearing my Willie McGinest. They trashed talked almost to the end but were gracious losers.

 

Cinci came out strong and now the Cards are making a game of it so far. At this point not sure why they don't hold Burrow out till he heals.

 

Because Burrow at 50% is better than their backup at 100

 

But they are still losing...bably. At least the first 3 games vs him regularly getting hit and possibly straining that calf more. But what do I know, I am not a coach or GM. Cardinals suck and are losing to the lowly Bengals lol.

Bengals are 2-3 with Seahawks, 49’ers, Bills, Texans, and Ravens next. I think 4-6 is their ceiling after that stretch.
