I gotta say, I'm liking how the season is changing up and we're not even halfway through

I wouldn’t worry. I think we’ve just found out that there is no elite team this year. Until 2 weeks ago I thought the 49ers were at another level. There are at least 6 to 8 teams that could legitimately earn a title this year and they are still in that list. And the ‘any given Sunday’ is as true as ever … Cards over Cowboys, Patriots over Bills, etc.

My Chiefs and the Eagles have the best record right now and neither one looks like a shoo-in to get back to the big game.

 

They gave up way more yards than points though despite Cousins having a career night. CMC’s fumble and Moody’s missed FG and the game is entirely different. We were down early when we should have been up 10-0. Add in Ward’s hero>goat moment and it could have been a rout the other way. In the second half credit the Vikings O-line since our D-line couldn’t get Cousins out of rhythm but scoring was still limited enough that a win was on the table to the end. The shine got knocked off Purdy but he played well enough and didn’t look rattled, just too many mistakes all around.

 

Ya, Moodys shank kicks are killing them. The D has looked out of sync the last two games. Maybe they are missing DeMeco Ryans as Defensive coordinator.

 

They’ve spent too much money on the D-line to get so little from it. They’re the one group that’s 100% healthy and they didn’t get it done.

 

Absolutely. Steve Wilks needs to get his ass out of the booth and on the field. And what’s up with an all out blitz with seconds left in the 2nd qtr. Dumbass call that cost them 7

 

There are times when man coverage is better than zone and worth the risk, that sure as hell wasn’t one of them. Forcing a punt wouldn’t leave us time to score so all we needed was to “prevent” them from scoring. That’s what zone “prevent defense” is for you effing nimrod. (Aimed at Wilks).

 

Idk if any of you watched Mia/Phi game but I will never accept one of the teams having 14 penalties to 0 for the other…if the ‘fix’ is in make it less blatant!
