The league should fine Mawhines for not stepping out or sliding. If you’re going to make silly rules for only them then QB’s should have to follow them.

The refs (KC) v the refs (GB) sounds like an interesting battle

I’m excited to watch my Bengals get embarrassed by the Jaguars tonight.

At times, yes. Way too many lengthy huddles making decisions, too many bad calls, too many non-calls, flags thrown then picked up stating there was no penalty, Etc. Games shouldn't hinge on the whims of Zebras deciding to toss flags every down, or deciding to just "let them play", and call nothing.

Correct that was no PF hitting Mahomes but the non-call on the obvious PI against MVS was much bigger. Hate to see bad calls at any time, but final 2 minutes in a game is terrible.

That said, GB was a slightly better team than my Chiefs last night. Not going to hang it all on the refs.

The missed PI call was downright criminal.

Like you said though, the phrase this always reminds me of is: "Do not put the game in hands of refs" - Jimmy Johnson

Do you think sometimes refs make up for bad calls with another one. Example: “We f’d up on the PF against Mahomes so we will ignore the PI on MVS”.

It stopped the clock, gave them 15 more yards and time for PM to catch his breath. A free time out may have been the biggest gift with only 60 seconds left.
It was certainly PI but to argue one was more crucial than the other when “the other” might never have happened is a bit disingenuous. Pacheco wasn’t down, his knees never hit, he was on top of Brooks with the ball clearly out so that’s another whiff. This time by the replay booth so it “should” have been another TD for GB, game over, and no PI because no play. Refs fuck things up but I can’t say the wrong team won or even won because they got more breaks.

I don’t understand the free time out comment, he was out of bounds when the bad PF was called so the clock stops regardless. Only difference is 15 undeserved yards for KC. And we will just have to disagree on Pacheco’s fumble. All that said, I already conceded GB played slightly better last night which inferred the W and L went to the correct team. Just hate to see bad calls.

Review the footage, specifically his feet when hit.
In any event it was worth the PF however wrongly called to see Mahomes get gob smacked. I’ll never bet on the NFL though so it won’t be my money driving this crap.

Not to mention offensive holding non calls by Philly that at times looked like Dancing with the Stars. To be fair though, I think the Niners got away with a couple pass interference non calls. These refs sucked. Regardless, the Niners dominated the game.

Browning looked good, he's a product of UW baby!

But Jax probably would've won if Lawrence hadn't gotten hurt

That was a really good game. Sucks about the injuries, though.
