No kidding but it’s nice to see young players getting a shot. I was particularly impressed with the Green Bay receivers this week. Some promising young QB’s getting time.

If Seattle and Philly both lose I wonder which team will be whining more about their schedule? Which is funny because if you’re good it’s supposed to be the other team crying about playing you.

Niners will be the best team in the league if they both lose

The record will at least reflect what we already think. Still have to get it done. If we’d taken care of business in one of the 3 losses it would be a done deal already. Plus we still have the Ravens to deal with and after Seattle, Philly finishes with tomatoes. Dallas hasn’t finished their tougher stretch either. Detroit is still right there for the one seed and might be kicking at the door the last game. Regular season only determines seeding, it’s the playoffs that seals the deal. Philly has won the right to #1 for now, can they hold on to it?

In spite of Dak throwing a few pics.

The notion that Brock can’t play from behind or sucks when he is is frankly premature since he hasn’t trailed very often and they’ve only lost 3 games that he finished. All 3 the defense was just plain bad. One, Cousins had a career night which Joe Cool probably would have lost. Another was Burrows’ first healthy game starting their run, and against the Browns JM missed 2 field goals either of which would have done the trick. All 3 teams are at or above .500 with legitimate reasons for not showing better. To come from behind you have to be behind and he’s been ahead too consistently to rack up opportunities. The guy has stones, I don’t see him folding in the moment, there just haven’t been many moments yet. Partly due to him keeping it that way. The only valid knock is that he doesn’t have a big arm to hit someone beyond 40 yds. The “tight windows” thing is a bit misleading since if he had more zip some windows wouldn’t be as tight. The flip side is his touch enables layered throws many others simply won’t try. Bottom line he gets through his progression fast enough to find the guy that IS wide open before the pass rush gets home and delivers the ball on target before coverage closes the window. Highlights focus on that throw to that player rather than the guys he skipped over first so HE makes it LOOK like 49ers are always wide open. The sideline throw to CMC was thrown while he was breaking to the sideline before he turned up field to have it drop in perfectly, not a straight line lead but 2D htf did he do that? This kid is special, and he’s only getting better. FCS, this is still his first full year as the starter! No riding the bench behind an all-pro to learn the system for a season, just go in and immediately start balling.

Yes but Vegas aside it’ll probably be awhile before enough critics are willing admit it. He isn’t flashy enough or have eye popping combine tangibles which explains his draft position but not his success. He looks off safeties, makes throws everywhere on the field, gets it to the right guy so they can get the YAC. He’s operating a complex offense at an elite level so why isn’t he considered elite?

Haters would like Crock more, it fits the narrative that anyone could do it. I think Rock fits better cause the dude has stones.

As you said haters gonna hate. Would be fitting to see T swift be in the superbowl sing that and Niners smash KC chefs.

Been a Niner fan forever. I thought Big Cock Brock was humorous myself. Young Purdy was the Draft Heist of the century. It's been a while since we had a quality QB. But, I gotta go with a SF, Philly Superbowl.

I think it’s Ravens or Miami depending on who gets home field. Tua & Co don’t travel well. Mahommies not done but his contract cost the team too much talent and probably home field. They might integrate in time but might not. Others have a shot to win a game but those 2 top my AFC list. AFC wild card us muddy but I don’t see it producing the conference champion, usual caveats w/4 weeks left.
I think Cardinals and Commanders have the last bye this week. Wa plays the Rams and Niners play Az OTR which is about as much help as AZ could hope for to play spoiler other than SF looking ahead to the Ravens or getting injured against Seattle.

BTW That extra rest the Niners enjoyed was sandwiched by road games on both ends that ate into it. Dallas was home against Seattle and now home against Philly with 2 extra full days and the playbook on a platter. No more excuses.
Philly fans-when you win the conference congrats you get the tough schedule. Deal with it. If you’d played the Bills better you’d have had fewer snaps. Sucking one week might fuel sucking the next but it’s not an excuse. What if you’d scored TD’s instead of Fg’s? Won’t ever know, just like last year, it’s a moot point. See you when we see you, wherever & whenever that is, Philly or Santa Clara, Division or Title game, bring it on.

I agree that ravens and dolphins have a better chance outta the afc. We still have a ways to go and anything can happen - injuries, bad streaks, etc. If everything stays as is, you’re right. That said, Chefs will get their calls. NFL wants that $ especially from the T-swift viewers. At least all the way to the superbowl. Would be great to get revenge against ravens or chefs. That hold on Bosa was still BS on that 3rd and 15 play.
