True, plus the camera isn’t even on the line of scrimmage but both of those aside it’s cherry picking to point out the defender and ignore the entire O-line while crying foul.

 

Yep, completely agreed. And had Dallas not thrown the ball when they were supposed to be running clock. All decisions that add to it

So your saying don’t throw a flag every time there’s a penalty, just pick and choose when you think you should. That’s exactly what they’re doing which leads to conspiracy theories.

 

Sometimes they throw lots of flags, sometimes they don’t throw enough, sometimes they throw the wrong one. So yes, I’m saying they don’t always throw a flag on every possible penalty they see. They’ve already told us they issue warnings. “Conspiracy” is just excuses for losing. If you want to support that bs go ahead. The more apt word is judicious which keeps the game watchable but is inherently inconsistent.

 

I’m a Mahomes homie and I’d vote for Lamar. This is a down year for Patrick, it isn’t all due to his WR’s couldn’t catch a cold if you coughed in their face. I still think he has more trophies in his future. Brady and Rodgers were great in their late 30’s.

They had a choice. Detroit has a good run defense but they're not invincible. Worst case scenario, Dallas doesn't get a first down. The result of the drive is the same and there's a lot less clock for Detroit to work with.

I could go with that too, just that at bare minimum it should be a "this is a bullshit penalty" option, and yes limit to one per half like the general challenge now.

Yeah there's a few things with him.

 

I know some improvements:
1. Players cannot be helped up from the ground. Get up on your own. This would greatly increase safety with respect to injuries being hidden by players quickly pulled to their feet and supported by teammates. Take a look at games...anytime a player gets rocked his teammates quickly pick him up as he waddles to the bench.
2. Dead Ball Personal Foul - Player is excluded from the next play (just like an injury you can use a time out to return to the field) I call it the "sit there and think about what you've done" rule
3. Start enforcing the neutral zone, and the line alignments...it's all out of control.
4. Pick plays are illegal...call it
5. Was there or wasn't there a rule about leading with your helmet, even as a ball carrier? There IS a rule...Then call it.
6. Allow imbalanced lineups for kickoffs...The low % recovery for onside kick is atrocious...
7. CALL illegal motion...I see it all the time, players in motion cheating towards the line of scrimmage before/at the snap. They try and time it but turn early. It's not called. Tyreek Hill does it all the time.

Detroit got screwed, but they had to wait their turn. Dallas should at minimum had a chance to go up by 10 or run out the clock. Booth should’ve had that tripping flag properly assigned, the clock stopped for it and it was immediately obvious. Change the reporting process so there’s oversight(mic the ref so the booth and sidelines know too) with some way to correct it presnap and no faking a report. Or accept it as a fluke and move on.

Oh yeah and I just remembered make players wear leg pads thigh pads, kneepads & pants cover the knee. These board shorts they're running around in and suddenly people take knees to the head and get injured.

Best WC teams? In terms of recent play & momentum I have to give the nods to the Rams & Browns as having the best shots at winning in the first round. If Miami loses next week they could drop to #6 with the Browns getting the AFC South winner. Bills or Dolphins could win in KC but that’s less sure. I don’t think whoever the #7 seed ends up can win but I give Houston a better chance than either the Jags or Colts.
Eagles are a dumpster fire and have coasted to the 5 seed but should still be able to beat the NFC South team though both the win and who they play is anyone’s guess. The way they are playing now the Rams could beat anyone, certainly Dallas or Detroit. Bucs, Packers, Seahawks, & Saints are vying for 2 slots to go one and done. Those 2 will technically make the playoffs but aren’t going anywhere.
