Need an ‘unlike’ button. Actually I don’t hate Allen or the Bills at all, they are good. I just don’t want my team to lose!

Not a Bills fan either but I’ll root for anyone to beat KC.

I get that LOL. My sister in Buffalo called last night and said Kelsey and his brother on some podcast did a shout out to the Bills Mafia for their attitude and pitching in for snow removal. Didn't realize it but they have been getting hammered all week with snow again, she has had grandchildren sitting duty twice this week because schools have been shut down. And another day of a travel ban, they are up to 63" since last weekend.

Over the years Bradshaw and the steel curtain would put a whipping on the Bills but don't hate on Pittsburgh. Somewhere around here still have a squish the fish sweatshirt but Marino and the Dolphins going undefeated earned respect to this day. Few years ago almost felt sorry for the Fins. Had my fill of the Patriots the last decade and a half or so but can't say I really hate on them. Not a fan of those 2 teams that claim they are in New York but are actually in New Jersey. Posers. But don't hate on them, well too much.

Back in the days of Tom Landry and Roger Staubach the Cowboys really were America's Team. After that not so much, especially since the Jerry Jones era. My favorite 2 teams are the Bills and whoever is playing the Cowboys and have been for almost 30 years. Not hard for me to hate on Dallas, they are about the only ones.

    Back to trash talking...

Exactly! I grew up in Nebraska during the Bob Devaney / Tom Osborne glory days where college football was king. No strong allegiance to a specific pro team. I was a Cowboys fan, because of Landry and Staubach (OK, and the cheerleaders). Once Jerry took over and fired Landry I was done with them. Also coincided with moving to KC and having a true ‘hometown’ team.

17 years ago the AFC 3 and 4 seeds upset the 1 and 2 seeds in the divisional round. The 3 seed hosted the title game (Peyton vs Brady) and went on to win the Super Bowl. It can happen !!! Go Mahomes and Stroud!

I wasn't going to join Peacock to watch that game...I say that, even if it was a team I supported.

We recently got rid of Xfinity Cable TV...turned in all the equipment and bought our own modem/router.

So...it's streaming service from here on out.

I wanted to get the best sport/NFL coverage without ridiculous pricing--step in YouTubeTV for $67/month.

We already have Prime but I rarely watched TNF.

All I want is to watch the NFL Playoffs without signing up for a streaming service I don't subscribe to.

Here's an article I found using the headline in Bold:

    https://www.thestreet.com/sports/pe...-playoff-game-despite-social-backlash-details

Looks like the NFL will be making decisions that affect how we watch future games.

They sell contracts it’s up to the networks to make it profitable. However it’s the league slicing up the pie and selling it piecemeal.

Imagine this … as you know, the Chiefs beat the Bills in the 2022 playoffs with Allen never getting the ball in OT. NFL changed the rules because of that game. What if the Bills score a TD to start OT this time (a win with the old rules) but KC comes back to score and wins with a 2pt conversion. This is my dream … until it goes up in smoke 24 hours from now. I think this may be the Bills year to make the SB, but lose to the 49ers.

I get the scenario explained...doesn't seem like the Chiefs deserved to win.

My feelings were the same when the Raiders lost to the Patriots in that "Tuck Rule" game back in the early 2000s.

But the Raider Defense still had opportunity to stop them...and they didn't.

This is why I was frustrated with my teams waiting until the last minute to make big plays.

I can say, I'm over it and just watch the NFL with a different perspective as I got older.

For the record, when the Patriots beat the Chiefs in the AFC title game 5 years ago by winning the OT toss and the Chiefs never touching the ball, KC proposed the change that offseason. It didn’t get enough support to even take a vote. 4 years later KC was on the fortunate side of the same scenario at Buffalo’s expense. That offseason 29 of 32 teams voted for the change (Bengals, Vikings, and Dolphins didn’t). So Chiefs did attempt to change it before that Bills game.
