    The refs problem is vast inconsistency. Last year Taylor got away with it in the opener all night long (Lions still won). But then there was such a public uproar the refs over compensated by flagging him the next few weeks at a record pace when video evidence showed he was only deserving of flags on some of the plays. It’s like they were trying to make up for the Detroit non-calls. He ended up being the most penalized player in the league last year. Probably correct overall, but lots of non-calls he deserved a penalty and lots of bogus penalties. Looks like 2024 is starting the same. While on the subject of the refs, how do you hit Mahomes so clearly out of bounds and not get a call? I thought the other roughing the passer on the Ravens was questionable. Seems like they were making up for it by passing on an obvious one later.

    ...because that wasn't a hit. He jumped over his player, put his hand on his shoulders to stabilize himself. Mahomes either slipped or flopped. In real time, you can literally see there was no force on Mahomes, or not enough force to cause the reaction Mahomes had. Good on call.

    He was 1/2 way through the white paint before he laid his hands on him. Never said it was a dirty hit. You just can’t do that. It normally gets called. Not a game changer regardless. Also, KC backup TE shoved Rioquan in retaliation, so there could have been calls on both teams.
