Current most likely wannabe’s. It takes some freakish luck to last when a freak hit can end it.

 

It looked like the zebras were working hard for the Eagles last night. I am a fan of neither team but they were doing all they could to get the Eagles the win.
I was happy to see the Eagles lose though. That is a classless fanbase and team!

 

I just watched the Falcons/Eagles 12 minute highlights...what a great game!

Man, I'm not use to seeing Eagles Defense giving up Rushing yards like that...Bijan Robinson had 97 yards/14 carries; overall 152 total rushing yards.

Got to give it to Cousins for holding his composure in the pocket with 241 passing yards and 2 TDs. (Including the winning TD)

Falcons definitely escaped outta Philly with a win. Wow!

 

No, just saying everyone is jealous of the team on top and gives the refs credit. Until it’s their team on top, then it’s the real deal.

 

I've always called it as I see it, my team or not.

That said I've recently said I can see why the league hated my Patriots all these years now.

 

This is the trash talk thread so I would be disappointed if you all didn’t continue to trash the Chiefs. Keep it coming! And I’ll continue to call the ref conspiracy theories BS!

During the 47 years between the league merger and the Mahomes draft the Chiefs had the least postseason success 2nd only to the Lions. I had season tickets for several years of that. No apology from me for enjoying this run.

 

Not that long ago, I had this contempt for Tom Brady...when I was consumed on Sundays and football all-day. (Not saying it's a bad thing nowadays)

He seemed to squirrel his way to victory...but he didn't do it alone...he had players that elevated their game along with him in critical moments.

I never thought Brady would retire...but then, father time caught up to him.

It happened to Joe Montana, Phil Sims, Joe Theismann, Dan Marino...and those are just at the tip of my mind.

With today's technology, the messages produced are even more intense via memes and such...which are funny, btw.

The best players make plays when it matters most...in regular season games and playoffs--again, elevating their game and encouraging those around them.

New England travels to NJ/NY Jets for TNF tomorrow.

You know I'll be rooting for the Jets...lol.

 

Pretty amazing to think he played at a high level until age 45, to be sure.

I figured when he hemmed and hawwed before the last year that he would play one more.

So many forget (even around here) those early wins were the defense and Adam Vinatieri. Tom just had to not fuck up..a la Trent Dilfer. Oh, and some shitbum named JR Redmond...

Scary to think what he could have done if he'd had more guys to throw to over the years..and a stout running game other than Corey Dillon/Kevin Faulk

I've been to MET Life stadium once...a while back...when the USC Trojans came to town to play Syracuse.

This is a nice treat...with beer in hand to watch the first half...yeah, some of us have to goto work in the morning. lol
