after 4 days in the french quarter...im beat. I am not a fan of Ray Lewis but I like that he already offered to pony up half of any penalty as that was a clean raw game changer play, that went from sealing the deal to giving the momentum to the home team

Saw a stat today that said (I think...i don't remember exactly) of the 15 plays the Patriots have ran from the 1, they've only scored a TD on 3 of them. Even if they had it on the 1, probability still says they wouldn't have scored.

Shaggs - Those pictures are awesome. I met some folks from New Orleans on a work trip. Great people and they had great things to say about their city

 

There's nothing I like about the team except their toughness. It's frontpage Yahoo, saw it, posted it.

I use to somewhat like the 49ers as a second team when the Hawks were still in the AFC. But then the douchebag came and for the record I hated that guy with a passion while he was still at Stanford. Then came the QB who likes kissing his bicep more than playing good football.

I don't like the way they handled Alex Smith, I don't like how they've handled Aldon Smith.

I loved it when Chancellor lit up Vernon "the baby" Davis. I don't like him either.

I remember getting ripped for this, but it's true. The team was over rated and Kaepernick was/is extremely over rated.

 

The other thing is I've tried talking football in here, it works a little ... but this is a trash talking thread. There's not doubt the Hawks biggest rival is the Niners. Of course I'm going to use every opportunity to point out there failures. If this was just "The NFL discussion thread" I wouldn't go so far out of my way.

I just read a lot on the Niners (NFLN, ESPN, etc) and in the comments section, there's always a Seahawk troll talking shit when the article has nothing to do with Seattle. Maybe SF fans do the same thing, idk I don't really read into Seahawk news. And even if I did, I'm not one to troll.

I'm really just glad the Niners have a good rivalry again. The Cowboys are irrelevant and the Packers rivalry pretty much died when Favre left.

Now there's something we can both agree on. How great is it that the Cowboys have been irrelevant for over a decade? I may not like the niners now, but I've hated the Cowboys since I was a kid.

 

It's crazy how the Cowboys/Green Bay rivalry dropped off. Its night and day from what I grew up with. The NFC division games are always fun, as both teams play way harder.
