Where's the meme for the seahawks that it only took them almost half a century to win a sb title???..... So the Broncos sucked it up and played the worst game of their franchise history and it happened to be at a superbowl with the best quarterback this league has EVER seen. But no body remembers that, right? Get over your high and mighty pedestal seahawks. You won a superbowl, you're barely in the record books.

With the exception of Franco "sidelines" Harris, if he heard foot steps he'd either fumble or shoot for the sidelines, hence the name, I agree tho' Bradshaw was a great QB (w/ Lynn Swann)

It's not just medical advancements, guys were juiced with anabolics which just turned them into killing machines, good example is Stan Humphries formerly on the Chokers, this poor bastard had a bullseye on him with a green light on his ass to be slapped around like a piniata~ For at least 2 maybe even 3 years he literally had no pass protection from his front line, which resulted in a somewhat early retirement because he was beat to shit with concussions, alot like Jim Zorn was when he was with the seahawks, really sucks, they were both good, competent QB's

I come from the days of Burgie/Butkus/Davidson/Alzedo/Tatum/Matuzak just to mention a few, these guys were fucking animals that were paid not to hit but to hurt yer ass, take you out of the winning equation...

    Oh WAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAA.. how profound...:p

And you base that off of a game where the whole team was a let down. Lets not forget Peyton broke the record for most completed passes in a superbowl game. There's nothing wrong with Peyton. He had a shitty day as did his whole team. Roles could have been completely reversed in this situation.

lol, and I aint butthurt. Broncos played a horrible shitty god awful pathetic piss ass event they called a "game" and there is no one to blame but themselves. It was a down right embarrassment for the team and the fans. However, it was a team effort, not just one guy. People can bash Peyton all they want, the WHOLE TEAM lost. I just find it humorous that all these Seahawk fans think their tough shit when it took them almost 50 years to do it. Win another back to back, break some records, and then talk all the shit you want. Like I said, barely in the record books. I'm happy for the Seahawks. I'm happy for Pete Carroll. I'd be happy for any team who has never had the chance to win a superbowl.

Meh, it's chickenshit to not blame Peyton. He controls every aspect of that team and the offense. With the amount of praise that was bestowed upon him during the regular season it's only fair if the criticism reaches the same level for him.

He was way off his game and imo that bled out to the other players. You can't say he got us here in one breath and then say it was a team loss in the other. I also think Elway deserves some blame as that team isn't built to compete with physical teams, too much finesse.

Also, I know if I was a Bronco fan I would lay all of the blame on the Broncos because they lost it. The reality is, the Seahawks won it. It had very little to do with how Denver played. The Broncos would have needed their best game of the season to compete, they were just out physicaled, out smarted, out coached, and out played.

I really hate when people bring these types of stats up. They provide NO relevancy for any current team IMO. Yeah the Seahawks took 38 years (not 50) to win a Super Bowl, but it took the Niners 32 and they have 5 now. It took the Broncos 27 (37 if you count AFL days) to win a superbowl. That stat reflects nothing about the amazing team that played yesterday. The franchise has one superbowl, but the team that matters IMO has won and dominated one superbowl as a team. That's the stat that should matter as they were a dominant team all year and proved that in all aspects of their win.

Also your Broncos have won only 2 Superbowls in its history. So I guess having two superbowls is so vastly dominant over the Seahawks franchise one. Plus that was almost 20 years ago and who knows what will happen next year. Just for reference, the Seahawks were in the Superbowl 10 years ago and narrowly lost to a very good Steelers team. A lot sooner than the last Broncos Superbowl appearance.

Not trying to single you out specifically, but those stats are thrown around A LOT this season and they never made sense to me. The teams play in the present, not the past, so stop bringing up facts that have no impact or relevancy to the team that won yesterday.

This.. Seriously grow the fuck up.. Just because you think your team is awesome for winning a superbowl 10-20 years ago doesnt mean anything RIGHT NOW. The Seahawks are and will be the defending champs until February of next year. People that cling to the past are the ones that give a bad name to sports fans.. Always saying how their team is better because they won in the past.

You are all starting to sound like Steelers fans with the "When you win as many as we have then talk"

If you guys wanna be that way then STFU because the Steelers still have 6.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Andy Reid will never win a Superbowl, take it from a die hard Eagles fan.
I felt sorry for Chiefs fans when you signed him !
