I generally do a picks pool if there isn't one wherever I happen to be.

I go with: Pick the winner of each game every week. You get a point for a correct pick. The points are tabulated and added up.

Everyone ponies in X dollars to join. The winner at the end of the season gets 75% of the pot. Second and third get smaller prizes if enough people join, otherwise its winner take all.

No players, no spreads, no points, nada. Just tell me who wins.

My wife knows NOTHING about football and joined our troupe one year. She picked the winner by whose uniform looked nicer, which QB had the nicer ass as he went under center, or which city did or didn't like.

    No, really.

*she came in second, a whopping 8 points behind me, at the end of the year

Maybe I'm just lucky, but the Steeler fans I see 'round these parts are pretty low-key and very much NOT flaming asshats.

Pretty much the opposite of J E S T and Patty fans down here. Even after the Pack beat them in the Super Bowl a couple years back, the ones around here were cool the whole time.

Being in Las Vegas.. We have Steelers fans, raiders fans, and 49er fans everywhere. I see a lot of Packers fans like myself too, but that's what I see the most.

And the Steelers fans can be a bit much round these parts, as can those Bears folks. ;) But they just signed cutler for a long time, so I'm not worried. Bahaha

Cutmyself ain't what has been wrong with da Bears for a while.

Trestman looks like he actually has a clue. He's shored up the oline, paid the really gorram large and freskishly good receivers they have, and has begun shoring up the defense.

I'm more worried about Chicago in our division than I am the Loins or Queens.

That sucks. Kid had amazing potential coming out of college. I really thought for sure he was going to make it big at this level. Hopefully someone can get through to him.

Peyton getting his balls washed at the ESPY's... didn't know the most playoff losses in NFL history was worthy of Dan Marino (who has no rings) sucking your taint in front 6 million people on national TV. Best record breaking performance? get the fuck out of here.

I can't believe ESPN is paying tribute to this asshole, while mentioning NOTHING about Tony Gwynn. Fucking retarded.

Very rarely do I ignore people. If I could ignore in this thread only, it would be ideal!

I just don't care enough about stats to get into fantasy football but if there was a league like "The League" I would be in.
