    Sadly, I wouldn't hold my breath. The owners love Goodell. Billion+ $ values for shit team, very team friendly CBA, a lapdog retard as the head of the NFLPA, and record profits.

    We'd have to turn the owners against ol' Rog for that to happen, and I don't really see it yet.

    If we started a social media thing..."Coors Light, Official Beer Sponsor of Wife Beaters" and got that shit trending in a couple places, we might have some hope. I promise you the sponsors are watching this shit HELLA close.

    The problem is, #1, if it was easy to find that Roger fucked up, he never would have acquiesced to allow the investigation in the first place. He thinks his ass is covered, and while he's a dick, he's a pretty *bright* dick with connections.

    #2, Rooney and Mara are known pretty darn good pals of Goodell, and while it's a step in the right direction, one of those two was quoted in the last week as saying Goody was doing a great job and his position wasn't in jeopardy.

    #3 Mueller is, first and foremost, a political critter. Yea, he headed the Feebs. But he knows politics and money and power REALLY well, and would it really surprise you to find out after the fact that the head of the FBI was as crooked as the day is long?

    I'm a bit skeptical. Not out of hope, mind you, but I am....guarded.

    Who asked for this private investigation? I heard congress wants to get involved as well or is the investigation coming from them, if so why do they care? Do Goddell lie under oath?

    It is quite possible that Roger Goodell never saw the video. He has people that work under him that do things to protect him. He works for the owners and the NFL has never been as profitable as it is now. Don't expect to see Goodell resign anytime soon.

    Personally, I think the general public at large has been rubbed the wrong way by Darth Goodie for quite some time, and essentially we were just waiting for the right reason to vent outrage.

    He's been great for the owners, surely. But he's a holier-than-thou, sanctimonious prick to the players and the fans, and most folks have seen his line of bullshit for what it is for quite some time.

    He didn't just have a whoopsie here. He didn't punch this tar baby as much as his ego told him he could FUCK it and back out. He's finding out he can't, and he ain't happy about it.
