Meh, that's silly thinking. Throw it deep where only your receiver can catch it. Much smarter football to take a few yards and keep or gain field position. Sure, interceptions there don't hurt as bad as on 1st down or 2nd down but you're better off to throw elsewhere.

Oh damn, Twitter is lighting up saying John Fox is on the hot seat, not expected to be back next year. Pro football talk is one of the sources..

Well, there will be more than 1. Don't think it's gonna be the Hawks though :). You should bring back Matt Hasselbeck though :)

I would love to have Matt back...

To raise the 12th man flag before a big game :D

I love Matt but I think he's done, plus he wasn't really happy with the compete aspect of Pete. They immediately brought in people for Matt to compete with, that's not something Holmgren would have ever done. One of my all time favorite Hawks tho. Yes, notably the Saints and 49ers will also look way different next year.

He did the same bull shit last year, a true poor sport. He won't be back until September, and will again run his suck until January. With it being down to four teams, I have a question for you guys... Everyone is about the sexy stud draft picks, and elite receivers. Seeing what's left right now, how do you feel about those players? What do the elite stud receivers have right now? A warm place to sit and watch the super bowl. None of the teams left have elite receivers, or receivers making absurd money, and calling themselves the best. When it comes down to it, mediocre receivers get the job done, and elite receivers don't guarantee shit. Look at the Broncos, Cowboys, lions, Giants, bears, oh my! They're all sitting at home, and didn't do shit when it mattered most. Just a thought I guess, GO PATS!

Odell Beckham Jr can't fix the rest of the Giants but he sure did try.

If you don't count Jordy Nelson as an elite receiver...or Cobb, for that matter

But please...keep up the incoherent ranting as if a single player is what it takes to win or lose a Lombardi Trophy

No I get that, but fans are all about getting the deep threat on their teams, and having one of the best receivers in the league in order to be good... When that's not the case. Brown couldn't help your guys, Calvin couldn't help Detroit, Dez couldn't help Dallas, Andre couldn't help the Texans, and Odell couldn't help the Giants. Same with Benjamin and Carolina. It's not about the fucking receivers, and how much your team spends to have an X receiver. I just wanted everyone to know that going into the offseason. Big sexy pick ups don't get you shit.

Yeah, I know. That's why I like to quote it up. Most of the other guys are in here thick and thin. The Denver guys like to pop off a ton and then run and hide when their team sucks.

I make a point not to make predictions or trash talk an opponent before a game. After... all bets are off.

I just thought it hysterically funny that Denver spent so much money retooling their defense to be Seattle proof... but they couldn't even get out of the AFC. Talked about a bunch of egotistical pricks... I wonder what NE was thinking all summer when Denver kept spending money to not lose to Seattle in the SB again LOL.

Cobb and Nelson are both great, but nowhere near the level of Antonio brown, Dez bryant, Calvin Johnson, etc. and that last part is exactly what I'm not saying.....

Ha, I think belichick is a genius, and knew what he was doing... None of us as fans did, but that's why we're not the coaches I guess. Carroll will be on the same level in a couple years too, if he's not already. They are actually both really similar coaches, I like Pete's fire though...

    Heh, really?

    SERIOUSLY?

You're saying that Jordy Nelson is 'nowhere near' Antonio Brown?

    Wow.

    Just...

I don't think so... Nelson = Julian Edelman, if Edelman were Brady's top option. He benefits from Rodgers quite a bit. He's still a great player, but no, not Antonio Brown.

    ROFLMAO

I was warned when I got to the NFL threads. I tried to let it go as long as I could, giving as much benefit of the doubt as I could.

Off to see how /ignore works on TW, first time since joining
