    Not really a nerve as much as it's just a fucked up thing to say... Pats are shady because they "cheat," then there you are, telling guys you're going to bang their wives... nice. We all trash talk in here, but I think we're all decent enough to not say shit like that.

    Lane might be an idiot but Rivers and Gates had career days against the Seahawks. Chancellor and Wagner were both hurt and nowhere near 100%. If you look at the history of Seattle vs. TE's you'll see they're one of the better squads. Look at the norm not the exception. They completely eliminated Jimmy Graham, twice, Julius Thomas has a combined 7 catches for 40 yards or so in two meetings. Vernon Davis tries to summon a patronus every time he sees Kam Chancellor. He owns his soul.

    No one on the Patriots offense will be use to the physicality the Seahawks will bring on every single play at all levels. The most physical team they saw all year would be 4th or 5th in the NFC. (Buffalo or KC, Det is only good up front)

    How much of an effect does it have? No clue.

    Also. The Seahawks have to be the only team in the league where talking trash helps them. Several players called out Jimmy Graham as soft before the playoff game. Didn't matter.
