I am a huge Broncos fan so that one made me laugh. But yes I totally agree. This is a fun thread. I am currently watching NFL Total Access right now learning more about the whole Patriots ordeal.

Hey, the Pats give us some fodder for the off season anyway.

It's ok, Pats went 18-1 after spygate, better believe Brady ain't making that fucking mistake again; he's going to be playing fuck-you football, and may the lord have mercy for everyone he plays. When Goodell hands him the SB50 MVP trophy, he'll say "fuck you, asshole" and drop the mic.

I dunno, I think the only way they win it all again next year is to 'cheat-peat'.

That's cool. I think it's annoying how people don't blink an eye when other teams get busted for cheating, but when it's suggested that the Pats are doing it they start screaming for titles to be stripped, players to be banned, lost draft picks, and huge fines to be levied.

But I agree that it's suspicious that no punishment has been announced for Belichik (another example of how Goodell clusterfucked pretty much everything for the 2014 season)

I think it'd be hilarious (unlikely) if he went 4-0. Everybody'd be all

Its fairly possible. As much as I hate the Pats and Belichek, the guy is a good coach. He has a plug and play system. Look how well the offense operates regardless of who is playing. When Brady tore his knee up and Cassel played, he did great. Move him to KC the next year and he is a forgotten face. The system is a QB's dream. Garapollo is going to get a chance to show his skill, and I bet he will impress. He's in the right system to allow a QB to thrive.

I find it funny that many people are throwing a fit screaming "it should be a warning!" I was watching ESPN and one guy say it should be a warning just like when a player is lining up in the neutral zone. The difference is: Lining up in the neutral zone is (likely) not on purpose. Deflating the football was very much intentional.

I also find the $1m fine funny..like that has any impact on the Patriots organization.

I think he'll do OK - he is obviously young and inexperienced, but he's like Brady in a lot of ways when it comes to personality. He's coachable, he wants to do the right thing, he's a leader, etc. Not that I want to see it happen, but a part of me sees the whole Brady/Bledsoe v2.0... That said, I see a lot of Tony Romo in him in the way he plays, his delivery is not over the top, it's almost side arm, he doesn't throw a rocket, he makes some really risky throws as a last ditch effort when he should probably just throw the ball away. He is faster than Romo and obviously faster than Brady, but he's still green. His whole career at EIU he worked from the shotgun on every snap, and didn't have a playbook, so you have to think the intelligence is there - and if he can catch on over the summer he should end up working out. Can he be a Derek Carr? I'm not sure. I don't see them benching Brady for him just yet, Tom seems to still keep getting better ever year, but there are a lot of what ifs, and it obviously doesn't make me happy that Brady is going to end up with some kind of a suspension.

Doesn't sound like Brady at all.
